ORDER OF SERVICE NATIONAL ANTHEM Performed by Ella Boich Accompanied by Bart Nameth
O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all of us command. Car ton bras sait porter l’épée, Il sait porter la croix! Ton histoire est une épopée Des plus brillants exploits. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
COLLEGE PRAYER
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
IGNATIUS LOYOLA
Teach us, good Lord, to serve Thee as Thou deservest; To give and not to count the cost; To fight and not to heed the wounds; To toil and not to seek for rest; To labour and not to ask for any reward Save that of knowing that we do Thy will. Amen. Hillfield Strathallan College is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabek, and other Indigenous nations to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. As members of the learning community at HSC, we are committed to honouring this covenant by working alongside our Indigenous neighbours and building a sustainable relationship with the land that we all cherish.

THE TRADITION OF PREFECTS AND HEAD PREFECTS
The selection of Prefects for the graduating class is an honoured tradition at HSC. The Alumni Office currently has information on Prefects from 1949 forward. Individuals who accepted this role are responsible for their class and the College to maintain the link between their fellow alumni and Hillfield Strathallan College.
Will Semeniuk – Saxophone Aidan Hotte – Bass Emilie Macchiusi – Drums
Prefects are chosen from members of the graduating class. They are selected as those who, in the opinion of their peers, the faculty and the Head of College, have shown responsibility in the areas of academics, activity participation and leadership. The primary function of the Prefects is to help guide the younger students, to foster school spirit and to help in the administration and discipline of the College. The recognition and celebration of leadership and community service is a time-honoured tradition at HSC. Our Grade 12 Prefects, under the leadership of our Head Girl and Head Boy, are role models for the student body and work tirelessly to make connections with all of our constituent groups.

Our core mission is to develop joyful and engaged students who live life with purpose. The best learning happens when students are happy to come to school, have opportunities to follow their passions, and participate in deep learning experiences that challenge them. Joyful, engaged students develop strong relationships with their peers and with the caring adults who spark and support their learning both inside the classroom and beyond. Their journey at HSC prepares students to live with purpose—to understand their world, inspire, lead, act, and make a difference in their own unique ways.
