SUMMER CAMPS HSC’s recreational, enrichment and sports camp programs offer exciting and engaging full-day, full-week activities for children ages 4 to 15. HSC’s well-equipped facilities located on 50 acres of land are the perfect playground for children of all ages! Campers at HSC Summer Camps, are treated to an action-packed day led by qualified staff, teachers and coaches. Our camps are open to everyone – you don’t need to be a HSC student to join in on the fun!

HSC is celebrating more than 30 years of outstanding summer programs for ages 4 to 15. Our innovative and safe camp programs are designed to offer young people exciting recreation and skill-building opportunities while cultivating lasting memories and positive experiences for each camper enrolled in our programs. Our camps focus on participation, teamwork, learning, and fun!

We are pleased to offer extended care at no additional cost. Families must add extended care to their registration to take advantage of this service.

CAMP FEES START AT $360 (PER WEEK). SIGN UP FOR EXTENDED CARE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST HSC Summer Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are pleased to provide extended care that operates from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During this time, campers and counsellors engage in a variety of activities. Please Note: CAMPERS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM. Extended care closes at 5:00 p.m. Any child not picked up by 5:00 p.m. will be taken to the Summer Programs office, where a $25 late pick-up fee will be charged per child, per half hour.

LUNCH PROGRAM HSC Summer Camps are excited to offer a full-week lunch program! Included in the cost of registration, campers will receive a hot meal, with both morning and afternoon snacks. We will make every effort to meet all campers’ dietary needs. OUR STAFF At HSC Summer Camps, we prioritize tailored programming to meet campers’ needs. Our experienced senior camp team and esteemed community partners enhance each camp’s programming. Staff undergo mandatory CPR/First Aid training, ensuring excellent supervision. We maintain optimal camper-to-staff ratios for a safe environment. All HSC Summer Programs employees are dedicated communicators who love working with children. FOR SAFETY’S SAKE To help us provide a safe environment for all campers, please ensure when registering you indicate any medical concerns or requirements, allergies, or additional physical and behavioural support your child may require while at camp. Our Camp Manager and Senior Staff team will work with families to ensure there is a care plan in place where reasonably possible. CANCELLATION POLICY To cancel your registration for any reason, please send your request in writing to camps@hsc.on.ca. » Cancellation requests made in writing 14 days or more prior to the registered start date are eligible for a full refund, less a $25 administration fee per registration. » Cancellation requests received within 14 days or less of the registered start date are not eligible for a refund. HSC reserves the right to combine or cancel camps due to insufficient enrolment or resources. HSC may change or replace instructors and staff when operationally required. Should a camp or session be cancelled, HSC will give one week’s written notice to the email provided during registration, and all fees will be refunded in full for the cancelled camp or session.

For all the curious, adventurous and active campers, Mini Explorers brings you to a world of imagination, learning and fun! From creatures of the deep sea to astronauts way up in space, each week of Mini Explorers will be a different adventure! At Mini Explorers, campers will engage in age-appropriate activities, crafts and gross motor games, all while making connections with new friends and discovering new interests.

Calling all inquisitive, creative and active campers, Mighty Explorers brings you to a world of imagination, learning and fun! From the wild of the jungle to the chill of the arctic tundra, Mighty Explorers will learn about how different people and animals live, create gravity-defying structures, and stay active with games and age-appropriate activities. Put your adventure hat on, and prepare for a new experience every week!

To support the reduction of summer learning loss, HSC offers a literacy and mathematics camp specific to our 4-5 year olds. The camp provides fun, academic-focused, skill reviews in a familiar environment with qualified HSC teachers.

HEAD START 6 TO 7 YEARS $360/WEEK WEEK 9 Research tells us that children benefit from consistency in skill building and routine, even throughout the summer! To support the reduction of summer learning loss, HSC offers a literacy and mathematics camp specific to our 6-7 year olds. The camp provides fun, academic-focused, skill reviews in a familiar environment with qualified HSC teachers.

OMNI CAMP 8 TO 10 YEARS $360/WEEK WEEKS 1 – 9

THE CULINARY ACADEMY 8 TO 13 YEARS $400/WEEK WEEKS 3, 6

A week of Omni Camp is a week of everything you love about camp! Campers will be immersed in new activities, creative projects, outdoor play and a variety of sports and games. These sessions will take the camp core of crafts, games and skill building, and mix it with relevant technology, special resources and exciting themes each week. Please note: Omni Camp is also offered for ages 11 to 13 in weeks 1 and 9.

Grab your apron and come join us in the kitchen! Campers will learn how to make healthy afterschool snacks, measure ingredients for the perfect cupcakes, and even to plan and cook a well-balanced meal! At the Culinary Academy, campers are well-rounded, learning about kitchen safety, how food fuels our bodies and how to write and follow recipes. The icing on top is campers get to eat what they make, and still whisk in some fun movement and games daily.

To support the reduction of summer learning loss, HSC offers a literacy and mathematics camp specific to our 8 to 10-yearolds and 11 to 13-year-olds. The camp provides fun, academic-focused, skill review in a familiar environment with qualified HSC teachers. THE ART FACTORY 8 TO 13 YEARS $400/WEEK WEEKS 2, 5, 8 Join us for a week of moving through mediums, discovering new styles, and connecting to your creativity! HSC’s Art Factory Camp will bring out the artist in all campers, allowing them to express themselves and build new skills. Campers will work on different projects to take home at the end of the week and mix in some daily movement with games and challenges designed to keep the creativity flowing in and out of the studio!

THE STEM LAB 8 TO 13 YEARS $400/WEEK WEEKS 4, 7 Are you ready to discover the world of STEM? From glow-in-the-dark experiments, to gravity-defying creations, campers will problem-solve their way through fun challenges and learn about the most exciting discoveries happening in the world around them! This hands-on experience will offer an opportunity for campers to flex their brains, and move their bodies with active games and activities mixed in throughout the week.

TROJAN VOLLEYBALL POWERED BY SMASH RAIDERS 8 TO 15 YEARS $465/WEEK* WEEKS 2, 4, 6, 8 Trojan Volleyball Camp powered by SMASH Volleyball is back for its third summer. This camp will be coached by SMASH alumni who are playing in the NCAA, USPORT and CCAA, as well as current rep coaches and athletes. SMASH ensures a high coach-to-athlete ratio so each camper receives feedback in the form of error detection and correction from the coaching staff throughout the camp. This camp is ideal for athletes with little to no rep volleyball experience, who are looking to participate in a positive, inclusive and fun environment where they can develop basic volleyball skills and knowledge, prepare for school tryouts, meet new friends and work on their communication skills in a fun and inclusive environment. smashraiders.ca TROJAN SOCCER POWERED BY CHANTILLY FOREVER FC 8 TO 15 YEARS $465/WEEK WEEKS 3, 9 Trojan Soccer is back! This camp invites players of all abilities to enjoy a week of perfecting their skills and developing new ones. HSC has teamed up with Chantilly Forever FC to lead this engaging and skillsbased camp. Chantilly received its National Canada Club License as a Provincial Level 1 holder through the Canada Soccer Association. The club provides a complete player pathway for aspiring young players, progressing from U8 to 1st team. TROJAN HOCKEY 8 TO 15 YEARS $440/WEEK* WEEK 7 In this hockey development camp, current HSC varsity hockey coaches and players will help each camper develop and improve their skills. Each day campers benefit from on-ice training including a specific focus on skating technique, shooting, passing, stickhandling, and offensive/defensive awareness. The off-ice sessions include teamwork exercises, nutrition, and plyometric training. This is a week hockey players won’t want to miss. Please note: Campers must provide their own complete hockey equipment. TROJAN MULTI-SPORT 8 TO 15 YEARS $465/WEEK WEEK 5 Maximize your movement potential! Participants will take advantage of the extraordinary facilities and expert coaching associated with Trojan camps. With a major focus on physical literacy and transferable skills from sport to sport, each participant will have an opportunity to develop their fundamental movement skills and foundational understanding of a variety of different sports from around the world.
