HAVE YOU INVESTED IN COMPONENT CLEANING MACHINES?

There’s now less than a year to take advantage of Rishi Sunak’s “superdeduction” policy. Graham Fraser, MD of Fraser Technologies, discusses why now is the right time to invest in equipment.

Announced in March 2021, the “superdeduction” policy allows companies to claim 130% capital allowances on plant machinery investment. For those who are unfamiliar with the policy, businesses are able to deduct 130% of an initial investment when computing taxable profits between April 2021 and March 2023. This means that, for every pound a company invests under the super-deduction, their taxes are cut by up to 25p. It may not have been front-page news but it can make a huge difference to your business. Previously, special rate (including long life assets) qualified for a 6% special rate writing down allowance. Now with the super-deduction policy, there is a 50% first-year allowance for the same assets. Combined, these new policies are a great reason for your business to make further investments and super charge your planned investment journey. Plus, as energy bills continue to soar, a simple switch can have a significant impact on energy usage, without affecting cleanliness levels. In many cases, reconsidering cleaning solutions can deliver higher quality results, while also minimising time, cost, and your environmental impact. Using the super deduction policy to explore our range of component cleaning technology is a financial investment that benefits both your balance sheet and your carbon impact. Fraser Technologies’ solvent cleaning systems are not only cost-effective but an environmentally friendly solution for your precision cleaning needs.
