CONDO HOMEOWNERS ENJOY FREEDOM AND LOWER TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP Home Owners Association (HOA) fees can sometimes be a deterrent to buyers who are not familiar with them, but desire to live in a condominium. In fact, more often than not, prospective homeowner’s are delighted to learn that their total cost of ownership is usually lower compared to their current homes. SALES AND MARKET UPDATE: Damage left in hurricane Harvey’s wake has further increased interest in condominium living across the city. Among other unique features, above ground parking, homes elevated above street level, and concrete construction, provide even more peace of mind for buyers concerned about future weather events. A new report released this week by Sudhoff tracked the supply and demand of new luxury condominiums in Houston available for move-in prior to end of the first quarter 2018. There are now fewer than 40 new condominiums still available in this market that meet these criteria and set to deliver by March 31, 2018. Based upon market demand, we predict all this inventory will be sold prior to that date.
