We are pleased to report on the present status of The Revere Condominium project. Our talented team of architects, Kirksey Architecture, has designed a building with attractive, lasting, and functional architecture. Our construction loan is in place, the foundation building permit has been issued, and we have awarded a construction contract to Ludlow & Associates Construction. The Ludlow company is known for its quality work, and they have constructed several of Houston’s luxury condominiums. During the construction process all work is carefully inspected by our architects and engineers to assure that the demanding requirements of the developer and architect are met. Construction is expected to be complete in early 2020. Pelican Builders has extensive experience in high-rise residential development, we take pride in producing a quality product, and in giving careful attention to the needs and desires of our buyers. The latest report released this week by Sudhoff Companies tracked the supply and demand of new luxury condominiums in Houston, available for move-in prior to end of the second quarter 2019. Prices continue to increase as new buildings with higher finish levels are introduced and inventory levels shrink against a steady demand. THE REVERE REPRESENTS THE FUTURE OF HOUSTON CONDOS
The success of The Revere underscores the evolving preferences of the city’s condominium buyer. Many buyers are now choosing boutique-sized buildings with fewer residences, but with larger average home sizes and big private terraces. DESIG N I N BLO O M The Revere and Pelican Builders were honored to serve as a sponsor for The Houston Design Center's inaugural Spring design event — Design in Bloom — presented by FLOWER magazine last April, which had design professionals and floral enthusiasts flocking to gather insight and inspiration for their own gardens by celebrated industry experts. The illustrious line-up of talent included renowned interior designer and author Charlotte Moss, award-winning architect Gil Schafer, lifestyle entrepreneur India Hicks, and master floral designer Remco Van Vliet. The Revere and Pelican Builders presented the Remco Van Vliet discussion that included floral demonstrations and a beautiful presentation by Van Vliet — the decorator for in-house events at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
