ON THE MOVE The Sophie marked a milestone on May 11 with the project’s groundbreaking. Houston City Council Member Mike Knox was in attendance and presented a Certificate of Recognition to the project team commending the groundbreaking and all the constituents involved. After the ceremony, the buyers and project team celebrated with a champagne luncheon at Brenner’s on The Bayou. In addition to custom Sophie sugar cookies from The Dessert Gallery, future residents received The Sophie’s signature scented candles as parting gifts.
