A day around Jugiong

Make the day about you and pamper yourself at Parlour J Health & Beauty. Paintings, sketches, cartoons and handmade ceramics are available at Quirky Crow and custom-made furniture at Woodstock Resources. Sample delicious locally produced wines at Jugiong Wine Cellar. The Sir George serves dishes made from local produce and award-winning wines.

A day around Boorowa

Visit the Boorowa & District Historical Society to learn the history of the town, and enjoy Devonshire Tea in the Magistrates Tea Room at the Boorowa Old Court House Building. Browse antique and homeware shops, pick up a gift and some locally produced goodies to take home.

In the afternoon walk the Shamrock Trail before enjoying a well-earned meal at the Boorowa Ex Services & Citizens Club.

A day around Harden Murrumburrah

Pick up a Byron Bay Coffee at Barnes Store Emporium & Café before a morning of shopping along Neill Street. Boutiques sell the latest fashion, The Muddy Duck offers clothing and homewares and is the perfect place to pick up a gift, or treat yourself. The local Heritage Trails tell the history of the Twin Towns, enjoy the heritage buildings and picturesque creek along the way. The Chinese Cemetery reminds visitors of the past, and the road through the Currawong Valley winds past an impressive railway viaduct. The Light Horse Hotel offers both dining and accommodation options.

A day around Young

Start your day at a relaxed pace and have brunch in one of our wonderful cafes. Enjoy a spot of shopping in our on trend boutiques or venture outside and walk the Heritage Trail. The Chinese Tribute Garden is a peaceful and tranquil place to enjoy a picnic and explore. Blackguard Gully, the site where Chinese miners worked, provides insight to how mining operated and miners worked. The Lambing Flat Museum on Campbell Street is full of artefacts and memorabilia relating to Young’s history. Opposite the museum, historical Carrington Park is another picturesque picnic spot. Enjoy local wine and produce at award-winning cellar doors; check our website for opening times.
