Clear Space Around For maximum impact and instant recognition, the logo should not be crowded by other visual elements. Adequate white space should be left around the logo so that its prominence is not compromised. In no instance should a line of tect or any other visual element overlay the logotype. The Illustration gives a visual guide for providing the necessary white space. All elements should be kept at least one ‘M’ unit away from the logo.

Minimum Size for Clear Reproductionº The logo has been designed to work well at large sizes (Advertising) as well as smaller, more subtle sizes (Stationary). In the interest of legibility, particularly for the small type at the bottom of the logo, the example shows the minimum size that the logo should be reproduced. If using embroidery, it is important to never alter the logo in any way (like enlarging any type elements), and to ensure that the logo is large enought so all type and graphics are clear.

Alternate Versions

Secondary Logo The Secondary Logo is the second most used logo version for applications. It’s a reversed version of the Primary Logo, and it can be used in cases where the primary logo doesn’t fit well with the background colour. It also can be used in different applications such as Stationary for different purposes, for example, different employees or clients.

B R A N D S TA N D A R D S M A N U A L V1.0

Tertiary Logo The Tertiary Logo is the third most used logo version. It’s a one-colour logo used more frequently in cases where a sole tint is required for printing purposes. Each tint can be replaced for either white or Black tint when needed. It can also be used with colour background, as long as the colour used is found on the ‘Colour’ section of this manual.

Primary Typeface The Primary Typeface is the font we first notice when we gaze at the logo. This typeface is the most important font in the manual and may be used as Titling, Subtitling and to highlight important information during the design process of various applications such as Stationary and Advertising. The Primary Typeface must not compete with other typefaces used in the same design; it should be the font with the most relevance.
