This research, whose main focus is the public space, aim to build a frame starting from the hypotesis that the active modifications regarding the diffusion and transmission of information (i.e. the availability of devices to access the web) can generate inputs which can inform the architectural project and its contents, not necessarily in a regulated or aware manner, but through the work of the architects that participate to the global contemporary architectural scenario. the trend that is intended to highlight is the progressive reciprocal contamination between the public space and the so called “spaces of information”. This phenomenon is analyzed through the choice of a series of recent architectural projects, chosen for their importance in terms of publications, that in a diachronic order show the recent trends, through the analysis of their formal features. The intent is to highlight the progressive compenetrating between public space and spaces of information to elaborate new critical and design instruments through the proposal of a series of spatial models.
