O
ne little pig in his house of straw heard knock, Knock,
KNOCK!
upon the door.
“Little pig, little pig, let me come in!” Called Mr Wolf with a toothy grin.
“Why are you knocking on my door? You could have germs upon your paw. You’re not coming in, you dirty beast! Wash with soap for 20 seconds at least.”
W
olf stalked on to the house of sticks. He thought he’d try a different trick.
“Little pig, little pig, let me come in.” “Not by the hairs on my chinny-chin-chin.” “Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in.”
“Stop! Huffs and puffs and coughs and sneezes Can spread illness and diseases! Cover your mouth with your elbow please, Mr Wolf before you blow.” Wolf blew so hard, but the house stood strong. He gave up before too long.
went the bell at the house of bricks. Wolf was not yet out of tricks. Pig peeped through the letter box To see a pair of stripey socks.
“It’s me, Little Red, will you come out and play?” Pig heard the tall visitor say. Wolf thought his disguise was good, He smirked beneath the riding hood.
“I’d love to,” said Pig, “but not today. ‘Stay at home’ said mum, so at home I’ll stay.”
“Then let me in!” wolf replied with a roar. “Little Red, is your throat sore?” Wolf’s tummy rumbled. His anger rose. He threw off the little girl’s clothes. Pig heard a howling sound, as wolf threw himself upon the ground. “You look like you need to rest, go home, Mr Wolf, it’s for the best. You may be ill, can I please ask you to put on this nice face mask? Nobody wants to get sick, That’s it, that’s the way, quickety-quick.” Wolf put it on and slunk away.
“Fine, I’ll be back another day.”
