A Japanese living in Oslo, Norway. Active in many associations. Have lived in Norway over 35 years. Universities(B.A.) from Florida in USA, Postgrad. in Univ. of London SOAS (M.PHil./fil.lic). Phil.+Religions. Further research studies at Harvard & short summer course at Cornell. Lectures in Eng. & Norw. in Scandinavia. Own business, consultant, coordinator, interpreter, Gov. Authorized translator (N-J), subtitles(J-N) in the Norwegian national Broadcasting (NRK), etc. Has been columnist for 22 yrs for a Sapporo magazine. But, I'm always too busy with numerous volunteer works and in committees. Recently, many talks and short lectures (mostly in English, Norwegian or Japanese). "Passive languages" are: French, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, ancient Chinese texts, etc. But they are not professional languages. I cannot speak these passibe languages.
