On July 28, 1976, Captain Robert Helt and Major Larry Elliot, of the U.S. Air Force, set a Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) World Record while flying an SR-71A Blackbird. They achieved the Highest Altitude in Horizontal Flight by reaching an incredible 85,068 feet! This 1/72 scale, Air Force 1, die cast replica features the authentic markings of “R.I.P.
