On the cover of this catalog, and also right here on page 2, is a metal sign depicting the beautiful New York Central Railroad Art Deco express passenger train, the 20th Century Limited. It ran between Grand Central Terminal in New York City and LaSalle Street Station in Chicago from 1902 to 1967, often in times much faster than any other railroad. In 1938, NYC commissioned industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss to design a streamlined Art Deco train set for the 20th Century Limited, with the result pictured here and on the cover.

20th Century Limited J3a Dreyfuss Hudson Steam Locomotive

In 1938, industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss was commissioned by New York Central to design streamlined locomotives in the Art Deco style for their 20th Century Limited passenger train. Replicating the NYC J3a Dreyfuss Hudson #5450, this HO scale model features Paragon4 sound and control system, precision drive mechanism for smooth operation, LED white headlight and rear light, brass locomotive and tender with die cast chassis, metal couplers, separately-applied detail pieces, and engineer and fireman figures. 12" long. #410283 $849.95 About Our Models... Due to the delicate nature of fine art prints, we cannot accept returns. DVDs and Software: Defective merchandise will be replaced with another of the same title. Once the tamper-proof seal on the box has been broken, the item is no longer returnable.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal check, certified check or money order payable in U.S. dollars to Historic Rail. Sorry, we do not accept C.O.D. orders.

DELIVERY

United States Postal Service is standard. Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Backorders will be shipped at no additional charge. Additional Shipping Options: United States Postal Service Priority Mail. Allow 5-7 days for delivery. UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air. (UPS shipments cannot be sent to P.O. boxes.)
