As the Allies pressed forward after D-Day, U.S. and British Shermans encountered the formidable Panther – able to tear through two tanks with a single shot! In March 1945, with the 3rd Armored Division “Spearhead” approaching Cologne, the unit was equipped with a new secret weapon: the M26 Pershing, and an epic tank battle commenced.
