As China’s first library about textiles, focusing on design and development for designers all over the world.Textile Library was founded in Hangzhou, China in 2015, and officially opened to the public in November 2016. Textile Library has dedicated itself to the material-centered creative design field, aims to the remolding and re-creation of materials through contemporary and interesting means with infinite possibilities.

The storage space was conceived as a large Textile Library with sliding panels that hold fabric rolls vertically. Currently storing about 2380 rolls, this solution replace old back-room storage methods for a more visual and interactive system that invites visitors to explore the entire selection of fabrics.
Around the storage core, workshops and meeting spaces are allocated for the users to interact with the material
The exhibition core is sub-divided into five cubic rooms with different product-lines
