香港藝術節

Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) 香港藝術節是國際藝壇中重要的文化盛事，於每年 2、3 月期間呈獻約 150 場演出及約 250 項「加料」和教育節目，致力豐富香港的文化生活。

HKAF is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the life of the city by presenting about 150 performances and 250 PLUS and educational events in February and March every year.

香港藝術節是一所非牟利機構，約三成經費來自香港特區政府的撥款，約四成來自票房收入，而餘下約三成則有賴各大企業、熱心人士和慈善基金會的贊助和捐款。

HKAF is a non-profit organisation, with about 30% of annual revenue from government funding, around 40% from the box office, and the remaining 30% from sponsorships and donations from corporations, individuals, and charitable foundations.

香港藝術節每年呈獻衆多國際演藝名家的演出，例如：芭托莉、卡里拉斯、馬友友、格拉斯、馬素爾、沙爾、巴里殊尼哥夫、紀蓮、史柏西、皇家阿姆斯特丹音樂廳樂團、聖彼得堡馬林斯基劇院基洛夫樂團及合唱團、巴伐利亞國立歌劇院、紐約市芭蕾舞團、巴黎歌劇院芭蕾舞團、翩娜．包殊烏珀塔爾舞蹈劇場、雲門舞集、星躍馬術奇藝坊、皇家莎士比亞劇團、莫斯科藝術劇院及北京人民藝術劇院等。

HKAF presents top international artists and ensembles, such as Bartoli, Carreras, Yo-Yo Ma, Glass, Masur, Chailly, Baryshnikov, Guillem, Spacey, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Mariinsky Theatre and Valery Gergiev, Bavarian State Opera, New York City Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, Zingaro, Royal Shakespeare Company, Moscow Art Theatre, and the People's Art Theatre of Beijing.

香港藝術節積極推介本地演藝人才和新晉藝術家，並委約及製作多套全新戲劇、室內歌劇和當代舞蹈作品，甚或出版新作劇本，不少作品已在香港及海外多度重演。香港藝術節大力投資下一代的藝術教育。「青少年之友」外展計劃成立 22 年來，已為逾 680,000 位本地中學生及大專生提供藝術體驗活動。藝術節每年亦通過「學生票捐助計劃」提供近 9,000 張半價學生票。香港藝術節每年主辦逾百項深入社區的「加料節目」，例如示範講座、大師班、工作坊、座談會、後台參觀、展覽、藝人談、導賞團等，鼓勵觀衆與藝

HKAF actively promotes Hong Kong's own creative talents and emerging artists, and commissions, produces and publishes new works in theatre, chamber opera and contemporary dance, many with successful subsequent runs in Hong Kong and overseas. HKAF invests in arts education for young people. In the past 22 years, our Young Friends has reached about 680,000 secondary and tertiary school students in Hong Kong. Donations to the Student Ticket Scheme make available close to 9,000 halfprice student tickets each year. HKAF organises over 100 Festival PLUS activities in community locations each year to enhance the engagement between artists and audiences. These include lecture demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops, symposia, backstage visits, exhibitions, meet-the-artist sessions, and guided tours.

Multiple Tony Award winner Matthew Bourne turns Swan Lake on its head in a contemporary reimagining of the great classic ballet. This is a coming of age tale, full of questions about sexuality and identity, with an Oedipal dimension thrown into the mix. Filmed in 3D at the Sadler's Wells in 2011 to music by Tchaikovsky, Bourne's Swan Lake also includes bare-chested, buzz-cut male swans that can be romantic and loving or viciously violent. It is a must see for lovers of contemporary ballet, as is Bourne's Highland Fling .

崔莎．布朗的早期舞蹈作品中，不少是在舞台之外的特定場地或公眾場所表演。藝術節加料節目有幸邀請舞團在中西區海濱長廊，以九龍半島的海港風光為背景，表演其早期作品。在午飯或者下午茶時間裏，你不妨路經長廊，駐足欣賞崔莎．布朗作品特有的簡約舞姿，以及令人莞爾的幽默。

Many of Trisha Brown's early works were designed to be performed in alternative, specific sites or in public spaces. Festival PLUS is delighted to bring some of these early pieces to the new Central and Western District Promenade with its gorgeous view of the Kowloon skyline. How does the structure of an organisation affect its outcomes? Does form control content? Is it possible to reshape the form in order to inﬂuence the way an organisation works and the results it can achieve? 香港藝術節行政總監，致力將她所服務的組織發展壯大。在領導新加坡交響樂團期間，預訂門票表格數量增加了三倍；於香港藝術節協會，她擴展節目至非常規場地，着手監製及發行原創作品。何嘉坤亦擔任香港國際文學節、香港藝術行政人員協會、亞太藝術節協會董事，以及韓國統營音樂廳國際諮詢委員會主席之職。

李楚琳於 2013 年 7 月 1 日獲委任為新加坡藝術節有限公司執行總監，經營有 35 年歷史的新加坡國際藝術節，此前，該藝術節由新加坡政府的國家藝術理事會管理。李楚琳的工作始於博物館發展，曾獲委任重建新加坡國家博物館，監督博物館擴建計劃，重組博物館工作團隊、刷新發展及參觀者方向。

Executive Director, Hong Kong Arts Festival, seeks to strengthen the organisations she serves. At the Singapore Symphony, she tripled subscriptions. At HKAF, she extended programming to unconventional venues, and embarked on producing and publishing original new work. Tisa is board member of the HK International Literary Festival, the HK Arts Administrators' Association and the Association of Asia and Pacific Festivals, and chairs the International Advisory Committee of the Tong Yeong Concert Hall in Korea.

Chief Executive Officer, Arts Festival Limited, appointed on 1 July 2013 to the new independent company set up to run the 35-year-old Singapore International Festival of Arts which was previously managed by the Singapore Government's National Arts Council. Chor Lin comes from museum development and was entrusted with redeveloping the National Museum of Singapore, overseeing construction of the museum's extension, regenerating the museum's team, direction and audiences.

Josephine Ridge (Australia) 墨爾本藝術節藝術總監及澳洲最具經驗、最負國際盛名的藝術界人物之一。她曾任悉尼藝術節聯合行政總裁、澳洲芭蕾舞團副總經理、澳洲室樂團副總經理、Playbox 劇團市場部經理、墨爾本澳洲當代藝術中心董事。現今亦擔任維多利亞洲亞拉河谷 Tarrawarra 藝術博物館董事一職。 Creative Director, Melbourne Festival and one of Australia's most experienced and internationally respected arts identities. She was previously with the Sydney Festival as co-CEO. Prior roles include deputy general manager of Australian Ballet, deputy general manager of Australian Chamber Orchestra, marketing manager of Playbox Theatre Company; board member of the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in Melbourne. Josephine is currently also board member of the Tarrawarra Museum of Art in Victoria's Yarra Valley.

薩翁林納歌劇節總監斯特拉東畢業於赫爾辛基漢肯經濟學院，榮獲市場學碩士學位，主修服務業營銷。他曾任職於 Viirus 劇場、瑞典劇院及赫爾辛基芬蘭國家歌劇院，在銷售、市場、企業傳播及合作方面經驗豐富。

Director of Helsinki Festival since 2009, Erik studied opera directing in Munich, graduated from the directors' class of Helsinki Theatre Academy, and has directed the world premieres of several Finnish operas. A founder of Q-teatteri which started a network for free theatre groups around the Baltic Sea, Eric was also the ﬁrst artistic leader of the International Baltic Circle Theatre Festival hosted by Q-teatteri.

General Director of Savonlinna Opera Festival, Jan graduated from the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki with an MSc in Marketing, majoring in Services Marketing. He has previously worked in Viirus Theatre, the Swedish Theatre and Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, and has rich experience in sales, marketing, communications and corporate partnerships.

Your guide on all walking tours is poet, author, cultural critic Tang Siu-wa. Born in Guangzhou, Tang received her bachelor's degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and her master's degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Former chairperson of the Tolo Poetry Society, Tang is the founding editor of the literary magazine Fleurs: des lettres and a columnist for Ming Pao , AM 730 and Apple Daily .

This walk takes you through the streets of Central and Sheung Wan, from the old stone steps of Ladder Street, to the old shops that dot Hollywood Road, and the ﬂea market on Lascar Row. Your guide will take you through the area's landmarks and treasures found in Ya Si's poetry. A chance to discover the remnants of Hong Kong's colonial times.

九龍寨城當年是一個鴉片煙館和色情場所林立的無政府管轄區。一個曾經瀕臨消逝的地方，同時也是本次漫步路線的焦點。也斯曾藉九龍寨城切入香港歷史的盲點；九龍城依然保留的舊區老店，亦是也斯一直關心的平民細膩。你將漫步走過九龍城街巷老鋪，欣賞舊物與新果，遊歷寨城公園，最後將在公園中席地野餐，分享自家創作。

Kowloon Walled City was once a ramshackle zone bustling with opium dens and prostitution. Under the flight path of the former Kai Tak Airport, low rise Kowloon City escaped redevelopment. Wander through the streets still populated by small cottage industry stores and the atmospheric Kowloon Walled City Park to experience the Kowloon City that Ya Si once knew and described so vividly in his poetry.

John O’Conor’s Piano Boot Camp

愛爾蘭鋼琴巨匠、著名音樂教育家約翰．歐康納，曾於 1973 年贏得維也納貝多芬國際鋼琴比賽一等獎。他每年在意大利的波西塔諾開辦「貝多芬鋼琴大師營」，指導新晉鋼琴家，讓他們更充分地演繹貝多芬音樂的微妙之處。藝術節加料節目邀請歐康納將此大師營的精華內容帶來香港，結合大師班和講座，讓參加者與歐康納近距離交流。此外，節目還包括觀看《歐康納之貝多芬大師營》紀錄片。 Eminent Irish pianist and pedagogue John O'Conor needs no introduction. Winner of the First Prize at the Beethoven International Piano Competition in Vienna in 1973, O'Conor is renowned for his annual Beethoven Boot Camp in Positano, Italy where he instructs budding concert pianists on the ﬁner points of interpreting Beethoven. Festival PLUS is bringing a condensed version of the Piano Boot Camp to Hong Kong. A cross between a masterclass and a lecture, this is a hands-on interactive session of O'Conor playing alongside participants. Piano Boot Camp promises to be highly educational and entertaining. In an introductory talk led by members of Guerzenich Orchestra Cologne, students are introduced to the artistic elements of An Alphine Symphony through the use of live examples, recordings and educational materials. They will then attend the orchestra's rehearsal which will reinforce the experience.

魔法鋼琴與蕭邦短篇是一系列結合現場演奏、以蕭邦練習曲為背景音樂的木偶奇幻動畫。圍繞着這個節目，將舉行示範表演及講座。講座還特別邀請了魔法鋼琴與蕭邦短篇的製片人曉治．韋舒曼主講，他會告訴大家「魔法」是怎樣練成的。

Multiple international brass and chamber music competition winner and principal tuba of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Jósef Bazsinka has been teaching tuba for over 25 years. Professor and jury member at many national and international tuba master courses and competitions around the world, Bazsinka will show you that the tuba can not only sound great in an ensemble but can stand on its own as a solo instrument.

Many contemporary vocal works that singers ﬁnd intimidating are not necessarily unapproachable. Let Stephen Ng, tenor in Before Brabant and Assistant Professor (Voice) at West Chester University in the US, guide you through the periods of vocal singing in this special workshop. Learn the techniques for and challenges in performing works from Britten, Ravel, Debussy, to contemporary works through discussion, live demonstration and interactive singing.

Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream has been reimagined by the Bristol Old Vic in association with the Handspring Puppet Company interweaving actors and puppets. See these amazing puppets for yourself, be astonished by their intricate design and the way they work.

Love, survival, mystery and superstition, darkness and light. How do you intertwine actors and puppeteers on stage to bring these elements to life? What does it take to make all this work? 我們很榮幸請來兩位來自芬蘭和瑞典的主講嘉賓。其中來自芬蘭舞蹈資訊中心的皮耶塔．穆拉莉將講述北歐各國支持舞蹈家的策略和結構，並集中以芬蘭為例子。Loco World 的創辦人奧莎．埃德格林則將分享她作為獨立舞蹈製作人與衆多舞蹈團巡迴演出的合作經驗。

北歐地區國際巡演、網絡及交流 International Touring, Network and Exchange in the Nordic Countries

What is a sustainable environment for contemporary dance to grow and thrive? How does one create it? What is needed in areas such as cultural policies, funding resources, artist development, and education/ audience development? Is Hong Kong creating such environment for dance? What's the secret behind Nordic countries such as Finland and Sweden in developing contemporary dance in the past 20 years? What have they done to create such a vibrant dance scene? A rare occasion for choreographers, dancers, arts administrators, policy makers, and everyone who care about contemporary dance to examine in detail Finland's and Sweden's model, and to share thoughts on how to sustain, develop and promote contemporary dance in Hong Kong. We are honoured to have two keynote speakers from Finland and Sweden. Pirjetta Mulari from Dance Info Finland will talk about strategies and structures to support dance artists' works in Nordic countries with an emphasis on Finland; and Åsa Edgren, founder of Loco World, will share her experiences as an independent dance producer for many dance companies. In the second half of the forum, there will be a panel discussion by local figures in contemporary dance responding to the keynote speakers. 皮耶塔．穆拉莉 90 年代起開始從事舞蹈行業，剛入行時是舞蹈老師兼編舞者。 1993 年至 1998 年，她擔任 Kiperä 民族舞蹈音樂藝術團的藝術總監，於 1998 年轉而投身藝術管理工作。起初在 2000 年「赫爾辛基——歐洲文化城」中擔任表演藝術製作人，同年成為 Nomadi Productions 的製作人，為芬蘭編舞家阿爾托科斯基、卡杜南、拉蒂凱南以及索伊尼設立辦公室。2005 年 8 月，穆拉莉加入芬蘭舞蹈資訊中心（DIF）工作，主要協調並籌備國際舞蹈項目，包括芬蘭舞蹈出口項目。接手擔任國際事務經理後，她幫助 DIF 發展推廣活動、駐節藝術家交流項目及國際合作事務等。

奧莎．埃德格林是國際巡演以及國際推廣方面的藝術行政經理。她於 2004 年創辦 Loco World 製作兼藝術家中介公司，管理舞蹈團並策劃北歐地區和國際性的巡迴演出。曾發起並參與 The FAIR PROJECT，NORDIC COUNTRIES on STAGE，NORDICS COMBINED 及 The MADE IN Catalogue 幾個項目，旨在加強推廣瑞典及北歐當代表演藝術，並將其推向世界舞台。Loco World 今年亦發展了一個文化經濟專業組織「AKTEAU 會計局」。埃德格林是國際表演藝術協會（ISPA）的委員會成員，並於 2015 年參與把 ISPA 會議移師至瑞典的計劃。

Åsa Edgren (Sweden) Pirjetta Mulari (Finland) Pirjetta Mulari has been working in the dance field since early 1990's, first as a dance teacher and choreographer. Mulari was artistic director of Folk Dance and Music Ensemble Kiperä in 199398. In 1998, she shifted her focus solely into arts management, ﬁrst as a producer of performing arts in the organisation of Helsinki - European Cultural City 2000. In 2000, she joined Nomadi Productions as a producer, launching a production office for four Finnish choreographers, Alpo Aaltokoski, Jyrki Karttunen, Arja Raatikainen and Katri Soini. In August 2005, Mulari became a project manager of international affairs at Dance Info Finland (DIF) co-ordinating and running international projects in dance, including the export project for Finnish dance. As Manager of International Affairs at DIF, Mulari develops the organisation's international activities such as promotional projects, residence exchange programmes and international collaborations.

Åsa Edgren is an arts manager in the field of international touring and international promotion. She founded Loco World in 2004, a production ofﬁce and an artist's agency based in Sweden. She manages dance companies and produces tours both in Scandinavia and internationally. Edgren has initiated and been part of several projects aiming to strengthen and promote Swedish and Nordic contemporary performing arts heading for the international arena such as The FAIR PROJECT, NORDIC COUNTRIES on STAGE, NORDICS COMBINED and The MADE IN Catalogue. This year, Loco World also develops the Accounting Bureau AKTEAU, an expert on cultural economy. Edgren is a board member of the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA), and has been involved in getting the ISPA congress to Sweden in 2015.

駐節藝術家計劃 The Artists-in-Residence Project 駐節藝術家計劃是一項特別的藝術教育項目，讓訪港藝術家可以走進三所本地中學教導學生深入認識表演藝術。來自蘇格蘭的蘇格蘭芭蕾舞團獲邀擔任 2013-14 年駐節藝術家，將芭蕾舞訓練工作坊帶入學校。 The Artists-in-Residence Project is a special arts education programme that allows visiting artists to go into three local secondary schools to help students learn and develop artistic skills, under conditions that are conducive to creativity. Artists of the Scottish Ballet are invited to be the 2013-14 Artists-in-Residence, bringing ballet dance workshops into schools.

Creating Original Characters 如何改編經典故事，重塑人物形象？馬修．伯恩在重新演繹《仙凡之戀》時詮釋了這點。在 2013-14 駐節藝術家計劃中，來自三所學校的學生有幸學習這一過程。在四個月的課程中，學生將學習運用伯恩的多種創新方式，探索《仙凡之戀搖滾激情篇》的人物塑造，如何創造和發展原創的人物個性以及環境，並提高他們對現代舞技巧的理解。而最終目的，是透過創新作品中的主題、敘述方法和動作風格，編出一支新的舞蹈。誠邀你蒞臨公開展演欣賞學生們努力學習的成果！ How does one remake a classic story and make characters fresh? Matthew Bourne did just that when he made and restaged Highland Fling . In this Artists-in-Residence Project, a group of students from three schools will learn how it is done. Over the course of four months, the students will utilise a range of creative tasks developed by Bourne, while exploring the characterisation of Highland Fling, to experience how original characters and environments can be created and developed. They will also have the opportunity to improve their understanding of contemporary dance techniques. The goal is to create a new piece of choreography based on the themes, narrative and movement style of this innovative work. You can see the result of their hard work in the public showcase!

亞洲當代舞蹈能否給人帶來異域風情呢？「異域化」指的又是什麼？來自印度的編舞蘇亞塔．戈爾將在本次工作坊啟發參加者以東方視角審視異域風情這個概念，並分析東西方視角對此概念的差異。參加者在編舞指導下，將嘗試把一些社會象徵性符號轉譯為身體動作和手勢，以作為討論的實例。 How can notions of exotica be addressed through contemporary performance in Asia? What does it mean to be exoticized? The aim of this workshop presented by Sujata Goel is to understand exotica from an eastern perspective and analyse how it differs from a western one. This masterclass provides an introduction to exploring the detail and rigor of Trisha Brown Dance Company's movement style. This post performance talk by Associate Artistic Director Carolyn Lucas, will allow you to get a closer look at Trisha Brown's choreographic process. Beginning with an overall history on the iconic choreographer's career, the conversation will shed light on one of her repertory pieces.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance Series (CDS) is a platform aimed at showcasing Hong Kong's new generation of dancer-choreographers. To promote contemporary dance in the community, the HKAF is organising an extensive series of outreach activities for students that are facilitated by experienced dance educators, including:

Exhibition 四十年藝術節外展活動回顧 Four Decades of the Hong Kong Arts Festival's Outreach Activities 香港藝術節不僅是本港舉足輕重的藝術節，也一直是本地藝術教育的先行者。自藝術節成立之初就通過學生票捐助計劃資助學生進場觀賞世界級的藝術演出。在二十多年前亦成立了青少年之友，至今曾參與活動的學生人數累計已達 680,000 人。連同其他各式各樣的藝術教育計劃，藝術節一直致力向年輕一代推廣藝術。我們相信，藝術教育不僅是提供一張門票或舉辦一場講座，更是培養下一代的創造力、想像力以及對美的追求。讓我們一起在這次展覽中回顧藝術節在藝術教育中走過的路。 The Hong Kong Arts Festival is not only a major international arts festival, but also a pioneer in arts education for local students. Through the Student Ticket Scheme, Young Friends and various arts education projects, we aim to introduce different art forms to young people. Learn more about the great composer Ludwig van Beethoven with Scottish Chamber Orchestra and its principal conductor Robin Ticciati! The Orchestral rehearsal, followed by guided talk led by local artist Ka Jeng Wong and Wilson Ng, will guide students towards a better understand of Beethoven's music and his attitude towards the great challenges in his life.

Where Bournonville's 1832 setting was misty highlands and glens, Mattew Bourne's Highland Fling is a new version of La Sylphide that takes place in a gritty, modern-day Scotland. A local dancer- choreographer will share insights on this unique and romantic ballet classic in a pre-show talk.
