The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF) is dedicated to promoting breast health education, providing support services for patients and survivors, and conducting research and advocacy work. Over the past three decades, the number of breast cancer cases among women in Hong Kong has significantly increased. In 2021, 5,565 women were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, which was five times higher than in 1991. About 15 women die from breast cancer every week on average. Being diagnosed with breast cancer does not mean facing it alone. Since the HKBCF was established in 2005, we have been walking alongside patients, providing comprehensive support services. We have set up support groups to cater to the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients, survivors, and their families throughout their journey.

The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Registry (HKBCR) was established in 2007 to capture the data of Hong Kong breast cancer patients for developing treatment options and healthcare policies best suited to the local situation. The HKBCR publishes an annual report with data analysis and study findings to provide insights into the current status of breast cancer in Hong Kong.
