Women's Health Institute
Divided into four pillars—Maternal Child Health, Breast Care, Gynecology, and Wellness— the Women’s Health Institute is a network of specialists working collaboratively to deliver expert, comprehensive care to women of every age, in every phase of life. Rooted in a philosophy of empowerment and choice, all programs and services are designed for women by women to care for the whole patient—mind, body, and spirit. This wouldn't be possible without the generosity of our philanthropic partners.
Maternal Child Health
As the busiest maternity hospital in California, Hoag delivers more than 8,000 babies every year, equivalent to approximately one kindergarten class per day. About 25% of those births take place in Irvine. Hoag’s expanded Sun Family Campus will grow this number by increasing access to maternal child health services and a host of other philanthropically supported programs. For patients with high-risk pregnancies, this includes Hoag’s Perinatal Nurse Navigator Program, which provides support and education to ensure optimal conditions for birth. Within its first year of operation, the program impacted more than 530 patients.
