Recognizing Pacific Life’s Bold Legacy At Hoag
For over 50 years, Pacific Life has been dedicated to advancing health care at Hoag, providing our community with the latest and best in medicine. As a founding philanthropic partner of Hoag Irvine, Pacific Life has believed in Hoag’s vision for growth in Irvine from the very beginning. Now, with the expansion of the Sun Family Campus on Sand Canyon Avenue, Hoag is proud to continue to partner with Pacific Life to bring new, state-of-the-art buildings and more of Hoag’s worldclass programs and services to patients and families throughout South Orange County.
As Hoag grows, Pacific Life’s legacy grows with us, impacting generations to come. With the deepest appreciation, the Hoag Hospital Foundation would be honored to recognize Pacific Life for supporting the Boldly Hoag capital campaign with signage in one of the prominent locations listed in the pages that follow.

Lobby, Hospital Pavilion
When patients and visitors first come through the doors of the main hospital pavilion, located next to the Hoag Orthopedic Institute, they will enter a modern, light-filled lobby to check in for their appointment or visit a loved one. As one of their first interactions with Hoag, this welcoming lobby space receives high foot traffic and sets the tone for their entire experience at the hospital. Borrowing from the most advanced thinking in health care, architecture, hospitality, and customer service, new spaces in Irvine, including the lobby, have been thoughtfully designed to enhance the patient experience, taking every element into consideration from arrival to wayfinding until a patient is discharged. The Pacific Life Lobby would thus help Hoag establish a standard of excellence for every encounter at the Sun Family Campus.
anxiety. For patients and their loved ones, having a beautiful space to rest and wait can provide both comfort and a sense of dignity during these stressful moments. Based on a vision that combines state-of-the-art technology with elements of nature, the reimagined Sun Family Camus will offer patients and visitors several opportunities to recharge and connect—often most needed before and after surgery. As such, the Pacific Life Patient & Visitor Lounge in the Surgical Innovation & Care Pavilion would serve as a refuge for those experiencing surgical intervention in their own lives or in the lives of a friend or family member.
With construction well underway off Sand Canyon Avenue, the new Sun Family Campus is being transformed to include specialized service centers for cancer, digestive health, and women’s health.
In Gratitude
