CAT CAT VILLAGE Located 1km away from Sapa Town, Cat Cat village has become well-known as an age-old village of the H’mong ethnic group that has still maintained their unique customs and culture.

LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGES Located 10km away from Sapa Town, Lao Chai and Ta Van are home to H’mong and Tay tribes with approximately 1000 inhabitants.

BAC HA MARKET The market is one of the biggest ones of the minorities in Northwest Vietnam, which is held every Sunday. There are many tribal groups who come from far and wide to buy and sell a wide variety of goods, exchange news, and renew friendships. Here you will have the chance to meet the people of different ethnicities such as Flower H’mong, Red H’mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Nung, La Chi, Phu La, etc.

MUONG HOA VALLEY Located 8km away from Sapa town, Muong Hoa Valley has become well-known for the picturesque scenery and largest farmland for rice growing in this mountainous region.

DAY 1 SAPA TOWN - TA VAN DAY - LAO CHAI - Y LING HO - TA VAN ( 14 KM - 5 HOURS TREKKING ) You can travel from Hanoi to Sa Pa town the day/night before with night bus or train) ĕĕ 06:00 am Our car will take you to our traditional homestay in Ta Van village to have breakfast and store your luggage, at here we will be gathering everybody in our small group. ĕĕ 08: 40 am After breakfast you will set off on a scenic trek, 100% different from the others, deep into the national park where you’ll witness farmers tending their land and grazing their livestock. We take you away from the other groups travelling around Sapa and show you what life is really like in this mountain area. You will trek through the paddle fields, hills, streams to Lao Chai village. You will have lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a little bit of free time to visit the Junior school, to witness the daily life of the black H’Mong and Dao people. ĕĕ 10:30 am After a break you will trek to Y Ling Ho village, on the way, we will passing through Muong Hoa valley, rice terraces, seeing Black H’Mong tribe who wear dark clothes in black and navy dyed with indigo and then come back to Ta Van homestay to have lunch around 12:05PM. ĕĕ 12:00 pm Lunch on the way ( pinic lunch ) ĕĕ 15:00 pm After a long day trek, we will have a hight tea at the homestay with some fruits & true local wine. Together, we will celebrate a great day we have in Pan Pan houses among the nature. ĕĕ 16:00 pm You can follow us to go to a nearby local market and help us prepare for dinner. When we come back to the homestay,

we will have a cooking class demonstration with the local people. Everybody can learn how to cook delicious dishes from the local people. This is an optional activity; you can choose to stay back at the homestay after a long day trekking. ĕĕ 19:00 pm Dinner will be served at the homestay. ĕĕ 20:00pm Everybody will have a cozy time together, dancing, singing and listening to stories about the land & people in Sa Pa. DAY 2 TA VAN - SEO MI TI - GIANG TA CHAI - SAPA TOWN ( 8 KM - 2,5 HOURS TREKKING ) ĕĕ 07:00 am After waking up from a very good sleep, a healthy breakfast will be served and help you to kick up a new day. After the breakfast, you will meet up with the tour guide and head to another adventure. ĕĕ 08:40 am You will trek to the bamboo forest, Seo Mi Ti village and Giang Ta Chai’s waterfall to witness the daily life of the H’Mong and the Red Dao people. After a break to enjoy the fabulous view from the waterfall, you will trek back to Ta Van homestay to have lunch and pack up your gear head back to Sapa town by a car. ĕĕ 12:30 pm Come back homestay join lunch ĕĕ 14:00 pm Our Car/ bus will drop off at Sa Pa town, where you can have a free time exploring famous destinations around the town such as: flower valley in Ham Rong mountain, night market – Sa Pa market, Notre Dame Cathedral, herbal bath house, Sapa Ancient Rock Field, Sapa Culture Museum or Fansipan mountain. TA VAN - GIANG TA CHAI - SUPAN - BAN HO ( 17KM - 6,5 HOURS TREKKING ) ĕĕ 07:00 am After a very good sleep, a heathy breakfast at the homestay is exactly what you need to start a day. ĕĕ 08:30 am A local tour guide will lead everybody to a further trekking, deep into Giang Ta Chai area with a beautiful waterfall and the Red Dao tribe village. ĕĕ 10:30 am We will pass by Seo Ho Trung area, where Muong Hoa & La Ve streams cross, if we are lucky, we can withness a very special fish jumping above the water. Among the journey, we will learn more about the culture, lifestyle & value of the local H’Mong tribes. ĕĕ 11:30 am Picnic lunch right inside the local village, after lunch, everybody will trek down Ban Ho village. Ban Ho belonged to Tay tribe, a very special village where houses built on stilts. >> 15:00 pm The landlord of the house in Ban Ho village will welcome you, free time exploring the village after check-in. ĕĕ 19:00 pm Dinner with the local people at the house. We will stay 1 night at the share house.

DAY 3: BAN HO VILLAGE – NAM TOONG – SA PA ( 4 KM - 2,5 HOURS TREKKING ) ĕĕ 07:00 am Wake up and have a cozy breakfast among the nature and Tay culture. ĕĕ 09:00 am Start a short trek from your homestay to Nam Toong village, a unique area where 5 trible of H’Mong, Dao, Day, Tay & Nung living together in peace and have a wonderful view from the high ground. ĕĕ 12:30 pm Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, a bus will come pickup and drop off at Sa Pa town. >> 14:00 pm Our Car/ bus will drop off at Sa Pa town, where you can have a free time exploring famous destinations around the town such as: flower valley in Ham Rong mountain, night market – Sa Pa market, Notre Dame Cathedral, herbal bath house, Sapa Ancient Rock Field, Sapa Culture Museum or Fansipan mountain. DAY 3: SAPA TOWN - CAT CAT VILLAGE ( 5 KM - 1,5 HOURS TREKKING ) ĕĕ 7:30 am Breakfast will be served at the hotel. ĕĕ 9:00 am We will join a great trek from the hotel to Cat Cat village in the west of Sa Pa town. Cat Cat cultural village was formed in 19th century by the gathering of some families belonging to some ethnic groups living in mountainous areas of northern Vietnam, especially Black H’Mong.They lived next to each other along the mountain side and cultivated surrounding their home. Rice and corn were grown in terraced fields, while traditional handicrafts such as twisting flax and weaving fabric have been well-kept. ĕĕ 12:30 pm Lunch at a local restaurant. ĕĕ 14:00 pm You can have a free time exploring famous destinations around the town such as: flower valley in Ham Rong mountain, night market – Sa Pa market, Notre Dame Cathedral, herbal bath house, Sapa Ancient Rock Field, Sapa Culture Museum or Fansipan mountain. FAQ’S WHERE CAN I STORE MY BACKPACK? You can store your backpack at our hostel for free and pick it up when you return. WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Remember. Sapa is at a much higher altitude than Hanoi so it gets a lot colder. In the winter months ( Dec - Apr ) expect temperatures to reach as low as OºC. Be sure to bring warm clothes and a stundy pair of shoes for the trek. Also remember to bring a rain jacket, suncreen, insect repellant and all your shower stuff as well (toothbrush, towel, etc..) WHAT’S INCLUDED? Your guide, all your meals, park entrance frees, accommodation and transportation. WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED? Personal insurrance, drinks and trekking equipment. I’M A VEGETARIAN/VEGAN, SHOULD I BRING MY OWN FOOD? If you have any allergies or special food requirement, let us know. We can have something special prepared for you. CAN I STAY LONGER IN SAPA AFTER THE TREK? Let us know if you want to stay longer.
