The guest hub takes up the form that allow panoramic view to the site, with most windows facing south for maximized access to daylight during winter time. Like an undulated ring that emerges from the earth, the curved exterior mass is juxtaposed with the humble, rustic interior look and feel.

The bedroom units are built upon pier foundation to limit footprint on the site. All bedrooms are located behind 200m from the coast of the lake. Within each unit, the visitors can manually spin the wheel to rotate the whole unit to face a desired sight. The roof is slanted to capture rainwater to reuse in
ushing toilet. Each unit consists one king bed,
toilet and shower.

/LIVEWELL/ Livewell Collaborative moves their office to the new building and asks for a complete redesign of their space to better accommodate their creative process.

/ FO L LY / Folly is a nonfuntional construction that suggest spatial possibilities for the human body.
Based on the “datum” and “overlapping” notion generated from the proxemics studies, the folly takes on the form that highlight symmetry and mutation.

/INSERTION/ An exploration of parasitic form that can be inserted onto/ into another existing building.
This designed space aims to replicate nature forms, clambering plants in particular, to explore the idea of inserting without forcing or changing the building characteristics.

/NORTH PORCH KIOSKS/ The
150-square-foot
installations
are
situated
on
the
Heineken Riverdeck of recently renovated Pier 17 in New York city. The design is conceived of as a single rectangular volume sliced to create two distinct shapes that allow various ways of interaction. The materials of the new kiosk were influenced by the new Pier 17 building and the ephemeral qualities of the East River itself.
