The prioritisation work has identified those parcels of open space that are higher priority for tree cover than others using the same prioritisation criteria that was used for streets and is included in Appendix 1. There is a concentration of higher priority open space parcels in Altona Meadows and within Altona North and Brooklyn.

High Priority Open Space areas that demonstrate tree planting opportunities include:
• Laverton Railway Reserve – new trees have already been planted which will grow. Explore all sites for any remaining tree planting • Altona Meadows Community Park – medium capacity • Bruce Comben Reserve • Skeleton Creek Linear Parkland • Seabrook Pipeline Reserve – some trees already planted • St Anthony Court Reserve Seabrook • Dunnings Road Drainage Reserve Seabrook • Alma Avenue Reserve, Altona Meadows • Graham HD Reserve • Altona Meadows BMX Park • Den Dulk G Reserve, Altona • Duane Reserve (Pipeline Reserve), Brooklyn. New trees have already been planted. Explore all sites for any remaining tree planting • Bond AW Reserve (especially along southern path), Altona North • Cooper RJ Reserve. Still some remaining areas to plant trees
