We’re so pleased to have seen many of you already this season and we hope to see more of you as the summer really kicks-in.

You might notice that this edition of Hoburne Life has a slightly different feel and new content, which has been the result of the invaluable feedback you shared with us a couple of months ago. Events ROUND-UP
Over the last few months we’ve had the pleasure of hosting a number of Owner events, which we hope you enjoyed as much as we did.
Despite the chilly weather, our owners’ exclusive outdoor cinema event on Saturday 8th June was a great success! We had a fantastic turnout to watch the film “Wonka,” with owners from Naish and Hoburne Park joining us for an enjoyable evening.
Also in June, some of our owners enjoyed a trip to Winchester, starting with a leisurely stop to explore the city, have a bite to eat and then onto Odiham for a relaxing canal boat trip along the Basingstoke canal. And finally ending with a quick stop at Odiham castle.
The ‘spirit of summer’ event on Saturday 22nd June really got the summer started, as 30 owners joined us for a Gin and Rum tasting experience. Hosted by Jane from the Firsty Foal owners learnt about the history of Gin and Rum and got to sample a range of tipples.
We have some new events taking place this year including Guided Walks Coffee Mornings, a local trip to Tennis Tasters and a Murder Mystery. We’re working through the details but do pop into reception and ask a member of the team for full details.
TEAM NEWS
Welcome to our new team members
We welcome Tracy Carpenter (as Sales Admin) and Lee Mosey (as our Sales Manager) to the team. Both have a background in holiday parks, so we’re sure you’ll be in good hands!
We welcome Amy from Hoburne Park as our new team leader in our Food & Beverage team.
And finally welcome to two new members of our Entertainment team - Josh and Liam. We’re sure you’ll see them around park soon!
We also bid a fond farewell to Luke and wish him all the best in his new role.

We are thrilled to announce recent promotions within our team:
Katie has been promoted to Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and Jack in Leisure has been promoted to Leisure Supervisor. Congratulations to both Katie and Jack on their well-deserved advancements!
Training and Awards
We are proud to highlight some recent training achievements within our team:
Paul, Sue, and Becca have successfully completed their Pool Plant Operator Courses.
Paul has also earned an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) qualification.
In addition, our wonderful Grounds team was nominated for our Team of the Quarter scheme and won! We thank them for all their hard work over the past three months in making the park look wonderful.

Park UPDATES
WiFi
All homes on the park now have improved WiFi access. We have implemented GPON technology, which ensures faster, more reliable internet access directly to your accommodation. This upgrade means you can now enjoy seamless streaming, browsing, and connectivity with improved speeds and enhanced service.
Maintenance
Our teams have also been working diligently over the past few months to prepare for the busy summer season. Here are some of the updates:
Our outdoor pool is now open after the installation of a new lining
The decking post replacements on the patio have been completed
All bins have been washed and bin areas cleaned
The multi-use games area has been resurfaced
The driving range has new nets
The viewing area by the indoor pool has also been re-carpeted
Looking ahead, here is the planned maintenance for the next three months:
Preparing for the external decoration of the main building
Hedge cutting towards the end of August in accordance with government guidelines on bird nesting
Ongoing streetlight work to upgrade to LED lights
Weed spraying being carried out
We will be completing a light refurbishment to the pool changing rooms
