We’re so pleased to have seen many of you already this season and we hope to see more of you as the summer really kicks-in.
I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself – my name is Alie and I’m the new General Manager here at Doublebois and St Mabyn. I joined the team earlier this summer and I’m really looking forward to getting out and meeting you in the coming months. I’ve been spending my time getting to know the teams and familiarising myself with the wonderful parks and facilities.
You might notice that this edition of Hoburne Life has a slightly different feel and new content, which has been the result of the invaluable feedback you shared with us a couple of months ago. We really do hope you enjoy reading this magazine and if there is any other feedback you’d like to share, then let us know.

Wheels Classic Vehicle Show: 21st July

Rock Oyster Festival: 25th - 28th July
A perfect summer mix of delightful food and electrifying music awaits at the Rock Oyster Festival. Farmers Market at Mole Valley Farmers, Moorswater Industrial Estate, Liskeard –every other Friday (2nd and 4th of each month), from 10am - 12pm
Bodmin Market, Mount Folly Square – last Saturday of the month, from 9am - 2pm. The market celebrates local Cornish producers, crafters and artisans, with a mix of wonderful community and charitable stalls
Magic in the Skies Firework Display: 25th July - 29th August
Prepare to be dazzled by the spectacular Magic in the Skies, a weekly firework extravaganza lighting up the skies above Land’s End. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 25 July to 29 August, witness an unforgettable pyrotechnic display set against the backdrop of Cornwall’s stunning westernmost point. This dazzling display is a mustsee for visitors of all ages.
Fun on the Folly throughout August
Every Saturday in August ‘Fun on the Folly’ offers free and fun outdoor entertainment in the heart of Bodmin. Outside Bodmin’s Shire Hall there will be a range of entertainment and shows in the mornings and afternoons for all to enjoy.
Boardmasters: 7th - 11th August
