Guest Assembly Drill for ALL guests
There will be a mandatory Guest Assembly Drill today at 5:45 pm. All Guest Services facilities will be closed during the drill.
Helpful Health Information Medical experts tell us that the best way to prevent colds, flu, or gastrointestinal illnesses such as a Norovirus that can be transferred easily through person to person contact is to simpiy wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after restroom breaks and again before eating anything. Symptoms of Noroviruses include an upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea. According to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Noroviruses affect 23 million Americans on land each year. In fact, the only illness that is more prevalent is the common cold. Should you experience any gastrointestinal illness, please visit the ship’s medical facility for a complimentary consultation and treatment if necessary. Luggage Delivery Due to high volume of luggage handled during the boarding process, we will deliver luggage until 9:00 pm. If your luggage is not arrived until this time, please contact Guest Services Desk on Deck 5. Careful What You Flush Our waste disposal system operates using a highly sensitive vacuum system so we kindly ask you flush nothing other than toilet paper and your waste down the toilets. Personal hygiene products hand and bath towels, paper towels food and other items will shut down the system, adversely afkcting many areas around the ship. Thank you for your consideration. Smoking Policy We have revised our onboard smoking policy, effective for all sailings departing on or after January 1, 2014. Under this new policy, all indoorpubIic spaces will be snioke free, with the exception or the Casino and the Connoisseur Club on Freedom and Voyager Class ships. In the Casino, there will be designated smoking and non-smoking areas. Additionally, smoking will not be permitted in the staterooms or on stateroom balconies. Outdoor smoking areas will be designated on the starboard side. Stateroom Requests After 4:15 pm your Stateroom Attendant will be glad to take care of your stateroom specific requests, such as your bed configuration. Service Charges A $12.95 service charge will be automatically added to each guest’s SeaPass’ account on a daily basis to be shared among dining services, Stateroom Attendants and other housekeeping services crew who work to enhance the cruise. Suite guests will see a $15.95 daily service charge. Guests who prepaid service charges prior to boarding the cruise will not have a daily charge onboard. A 18% service charge is also automatically added to beverages, mini bar purchases.
