Seapass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Luggage Delivery

Due to the high volume of luggage, we will happily deliver luggage until 5:00 pm tonight. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items please proceed to Guest Services after 6:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Getting around in Cozumel, Mexico

The walk along the pier from the ship to the exit of the terminal is approximately 15 minutes, where you’ll come across shops, restaurants, and other attractions. There is no transportation available on the pier. The town is about 2 miles to reach (3.5km), which you can access either on foot with a long walk or take a 10–minute taxi ride. The local currency is the Mexican Peso ($MXN). This currency is not available onboard. However, US dollars ($) are widely accepted on the island. The ATM is located inside the cruise terminal.

Getting around in Belize City, Belize

In this port you will be tendered ashore to Belize City Harbor. All guests disembark at cruise terminal docks in Belize’s Tourism Village. It has a collection of gift shops, restaurants, and tour operators along the harbor. Belize is blessed with a multitude of natural attractions: the longest barrier reef, home of the Great Blue Hole, lush tropical rainforests with many species of birds, and exotic tropical flora and fauna. The Government House is one of the Belize’s most important political and historical landmarks. There is always a line of taxis waiting adjacent to the Tourism Village, there is no meters, so you’ll need to establish the fare in advance. You can catch a water Taxi to Caye Caulker. Tours are also offered to San Pedro and Caye Caulker. The water taxi will cost between 15 and 20 per person for round trip. Cave Tubing should be on the top of your list. Belize Zoo is also a popular destination.

Independent Guests

Guests who wish to head ashore independently should collect a tender ticket from 7:00 am until open tendering in the Schooner Bar, Centrum, Deck 6. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their traveling party. Please note that there might be queues for tender boats at times when returning to the ship. The last tender to the ship will depart Belize by 4:15 pm.

Let’s Be Safe on Our Tender Boats

There is a steep step to safely board our tender boats. Please take care to use handrails and take extra care when boarding and exiting tender. Guests who are unable to take the stairs are asked to please do not board. Our staff is not permitted to lift guests or assistive equipment but we will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests with manual wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters cannot be taken via tender boats to the pier. Smoking is not permitted.

Boarding the Tenders

Please stand to the right of the stairway while waiting to board a tender from the ship. We know our guests are anxious to get into port but we ask that you respect the queue. The crew will try to get everyone ashore as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Going Ashore Via Tender

Crew members will guide you when entering and leaving the tenders. Always follow their instructions. Please remain seated in the tender until disembarkation begins and a crew member has indicated it is safe for you to stand.

Tender Operations

Commencement of tender operations is subject to clearance by local authorities and can vary up to 1 hour after arrival time.

Wheelchairs on Tenders

Only collapsible wheelchairs will be permitted on tenders. Guests must be able to walk a few steps to get on and off the tender. Crew members aren’t allowed to lift wheelchairs with guests seated.

Getting around in Costa, Maya

The Costa Maya cruise port lies between the Caribbean Sea and dense rainforest, in the southern part of Quintana Roo state. While there are many adventures to be had further afield, you’ll find everything you need here for a day out. There are shops and places to eat, as well as ATMs, restrooms, Wi–Fi, and a spa and a large pool, as well as a swim–up bar You can swim from the beach here, although beach lovers should consider the shuttle bus that runs to the nearby town of Mahahual, where the beaches are better. Meanwhile, experiences right at the port include Aviarus, an aviary with hanging bridges linking the different habitats; Kakaw, which tells the story of Mexican cocoa, including hand–made chocolate to sample; and La Consentida, a tequila distillery.

Getting Around in Roatan, Honduras

The ship will be docked in the south of Roatan at the Coxen Hole cruise ship dock and mall complex. There you will find a bank with an ATM, a large Diamonds International shop, a couple of restaurants and a smattering of other shops, including pharmacy and liquor store. The downtown is within walking distance. With a warm climate, you can lounge on the island’s white sandy beaches or snorkel in crystal blue waters. You may spot some of the wildlife indigenous to the island, such as the Red Lored Parrot, The Lala Monkey or the Jesus Lizard, son named for its ability to walk on the water. Guests who wish to head ashore independently should collect a tender ticket from 7:00 am until open tendering in the Schooner Bar, Centrum, Deck 6. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their traveling party. Please note that there might be queues for tender boats at times when returning to the ship. The last tender to the ship will depart Grand Cayman by 5:15 pm.

There is a steep step to safely board our tender boats. Please take care to use handrails and take extra care when boarding and exiting tender. Guests who are unable to take the stairs are asked to please do not board. Our staff is not permitted to lift guests or assistive equipment but we will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests with manual wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters cannot be taken via tender boats to the pier. Smoking is not permitted.

Boarding the Tenders

Please stand to the right of the stairway while waiting to board a tender from the ship. We know our guests are anxious to get into port but we ask that you respect the queue. The crew will try to get everyone ashore as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Going Ashore Via Tender

Crew members will guide you when entering and leaving the tenders. Always follow their instructions. Please remain seated in the tender until disembarkation begins and a crew member has indicated it is safe for you to stand.

Commencement of tender operations is subject to clearance by local authorities and can vary up to 1 hour after arrival time.

Shore Visits For Minors

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 54 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?

$18.00 $20.50

If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services sta , stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.
