In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth Staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

Children’s Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)

For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Anthem of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.

Animal Sighting Advisory

Occasionally, animals may find their way onboard our ships. For your safety, if you encounter any animals onboard, it is prohibited to interact with or touch them. We ask that you please report any sightings or encounters to any of our Officers or Crew.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4 Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cas h. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the second to last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial [7000] on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

The ship will dock at the pier Zweedse Kaai. Walking in or out of the port is forbidden due to safety reasons. Complimentary port shuttle is provided to get from the ship to the port terminal (5-min drive), where you can find a variety of services, transportation desk, security check point etc. Different transportation options are available to visit Blankenberge (15 min drive), Bruges (approx. 45 min drive) or get around on your own. Please refer to the letter sent to your stateroom for more information. If you are on a Royal Caribbean Shore Excursion, please follow the instructions on your tour ticket.

Watch Out! Time Change

Please set your clocks and watches one (1) hour backward before retiring on Thursday evening. Ship clocks go backward at 2:00 am Friday morning.

Reserving deck chairs is not allowed. Any unattended items will be collected and held at the towel stand.

Tips for an E asy D eparture

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. You can also checkout channel 7 on your stateroom telev ision for a video overview of this process. We’ve implemented a more gradual flow for our departure process.

• Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am. After you’ve enjoyed breakfast, please head to any public areas until your departure number is announced or displayed on the ship’s digital screens.

• All guests have been assigned a specific departure group and time. We’ve done our best to schedule your departure at a convenient time for you. You will be notified of your departure time on channel 2 on your stateroom television until 8:00 am and digital screens throughout the ship. This is where our schedule will be co ntinually updated

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid the wait by keeping all your luggage with you as you depart the ship. Self-assist departure times begin at approximately 6:00 am and end at 8:30 am. If you are taking one of our transfers but wish to take your luggage off with you, please still attach the luggage tag of the transfer to your luggage.

Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance

Departure Morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation.

• Don't forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• You are free to depart as soon as the self-assist departure announcement has been made.

Getting Off the Ship

• Tune in to channel 2 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times.

• Once the Self-Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean app, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 with all your luggage.

• Taxis and uber are readily available outside the terminal.

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at 6:30 am and end at approximately at 9:20 am

Night Before

• If you are not choosing Self-Assist Departure, leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door no later than 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

• Suite and pinnacle guests, if you are taking a transfer kindly place the tag number of the transfer and not the red tags.

• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check in bags the night before.

Departure Morning

• Don't forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is called.

Getting Off the Ship

• Once your departure number is called on channel 2 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean app, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 using the elevators nearest to you.

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation. Taxis will be readily available.

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please proceed to Jamie’s Italian Restaurant on Deck 5 from 6:00 am.

How do I close out my tab?

The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released within 5-7 days after your sailing

• Consecutive Cruisers should refer to the letter in your stateroom for your meeting place and time.

Customs Allowance

• Guests are subject to the Customs Allowance of their country.

• Guests returning to/entering the UK are entitled to bring in 4 litres of spirits (over 22% ABV) or 9 litres of fortified wine, sparkling wine, or any other alcoholic beverage of less than 22% ABV. You can also bring in 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco (including shisha tobacco) or 200 sticks of tobacco for heating. You are also entitled to bring other goods (e.g perfume and electrical goods) worth up to 270 GBP without paying UK duty and/or tax.

• If you are carrying cash equivalent to 10,000 GBP or more when you enter or leave Great Britain to or from any other country, you must declare it. A declaration form can be found online at gov.uk ‘declare cash you carry into or out of the UK’.
