Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4 . Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staf, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

How to Get Ashore in Noumea, New Caledonia

Ovation of the Seas will be docked in a working port. Guests will need to use the shuttles provided by the port to transit the port area into the town. No pedestrians are allowed. The shuttle ride is approximately 5 - 10 minutes. If you are in no rush and want to avoid the busy times for the shuttles, head out a little later in the morning as during peak times there may be slight delays. The last shuttle from pick up point is at 4:00 pm.

Drones Forbidden by law in New Caledonia

It is strictly forbidden to use drones hardly anywhere in Noumea and in Lifou as it is forbidden by the Civil Aviations. Drone operators who conduct unsafe or unauthorized operations face to maximal fines, as per the regulation. The sanctions are based on articles 6232-4, -12 and -13 of the French Transport Code.

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4 . Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. How to Get Ashore in Mystery Island

Mystery Island requires the use of tenders. Tenders are small boats that we use to take you ashore in ports where the ship is too large to dock. Each ride is approximately 15 minutes from the ship to the shore and vice versa. We will be using tender tickets, which will be available to you from 8:00 am (until Open Tender is announced) in Royal Theatre, Deck 5. In order to help us make the process as smooth as possible for all of our guests, please only collect a ticket when you are ready to go ashore. Only one person is required to collect tickets for your party. Please wait in any of our public lounges on Decks 4 & 5 and listen for announcements for your group number to be called to the tender loading areas. If you don’t go ashore when your ticket number is called, you will be required to collect another ticket. The last tender from the shore will be at 5:00 pm.

Need a Transfer to the Airport?

Book your transfers to the Sydney airport. Transfers to the airport is $35 USD per person one way. Purchase in the Royal Caribbean app or visit the Guest Services team on Deck 4. The deadline to purchase transfers is Day 6 at 4:00 pm.

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4 . Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. How much are gratuities?
