Seapass Account Hold Charge
You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.
SeaPass Card Cash Limit
The credit limit for cash SeaPass cards is $500. Once this limit is reached, the account will be deactivated. To reactivate, a cash deposit is needed or simply link a credit card. Visit Guest Services to learn more.
Luggage Delivery
Due to the high volume of luggage, we will happily deliver luggage until 7:00 pm tonight. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items please proceed to Guest Services after 8:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) requires that all guests (including Canadian Citizens) onboard Jewel of the seas, to complete the mandatory customs declaration (E-311). We kindly ask to bring the completed declaration to Guest services drop off box, no later than today, September 8th, by noon.
Be Careful with Doors
Doors onboard to staterooms, the decks, restaurants and other venues, are typically heavier than doors back home. Please use caution when opening and closing them.
Hold Steady with Handrails
Even on the calmest of seas, the ship may shift unexpectedly. Use the handrails located throughout the ship whenever we are sailing.
Our Pipes are Sensitive!
Our toilet system onboard is very sensitive. Please do not flush anything except toilet paper. Thank you!

With your SeaPass card, you can check out as many towels needed after each new adventure. Make sure to bring your towel back when you’re done! A $25 replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT
Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations
Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 54 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.
Room Service
Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?
$18.00 $20.50
If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services sta , stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Be Careful with Doors
Doors onboard to staterooms, the decks, restaurants and other venues, are typically heavier than doors back home. Please use caution when opening and closing them.

The ship docks in Main Berth. To get into town and all the main sights, just walk when leaving the ship and follow the pleasant walk along the waterfront or Esplanade just behind. The easiest way to the main street of Charlotte Street is on the left on Dorchester Street. There are small shops and restaurants downtown on Charlotte St. and by the terminal. There is a small mall, the Sydney Shopping Centre, on the east end of Princes St. and a supermarket. Uber and Taxis are available in front of the port and cards or cash are accepted. The local buses are Transit Cape Breton can get you where you need to go in Downtown Sydney.

Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 54 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. Getting around in Halifax, Nova Scotia
The ship is docked at Pavilion 22 which is connected to the terminal building via a hydraulic gangway and is located in 1215 Marginal Rd. Uber and Taxis are available in front of the port and cards or cash are accepted. Hop On Hop Off buses are available, the guests can book this tour through the Royal App, the price per person is $64.00. The distance to downtown is less than 0,6 miles. In the vicinity of the port you can find the Farmer’s Market, the Garrison brewery and the Pier 21 Museum. In the waterfront area, located directly to the left of the terminal, you will be able to find some restaurants and street food.

Please note that local security authorities will dispose of any liquids returning to the ship. Unopened liquor bottles will be stored onboard for safe keeping and returned to guests on the last day of the cruise.
Shore Visits For Minors
Parents or guardians must not permit any guest in their care under the age of 18 to leave the ship in any port without responsible adult supervision.
Mind Your Step
Thresholds may be higher onboard than those you are accustomed to you on land. Please use caution when crossing them, especially when wearing high heels.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT
Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations
Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 54 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

Getting around in Nanortalik, Greenland (Tendering)
The ship’s tenders will leave you in the port of 10 Passenger Port in Nanortalik, the southernmost town in Greenland, which is known among Greenlanders for its stunning fjords, mountains capes, traditional handmade crafts and Nordic history. From the pier to town is a 10 minutes walk. There will be limited transportations at the pier (the price of the taxis that can carry up to 4 passengers is approx. DKK 150). There is very little local agriculture in the region. Reindeer, musk ox, shrimp and halibut flat fish are some favorite Greenland delicacies. While there are no restaurants in Nanortalik, you can dine inside the Hotel Kap Farvel, which serves a “dish of the day,” made up of the fresh caught seafood or locally sourced meat.

Guests who wish to head ashore independently should collect a tender ticket from 7:45 am until open tendering in the Schooner Bar, Centrum, Deck 6, when you are ready to go ashore. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their traveling party. Please note that there might be queues for tender boats at times when returning to the ship. The last tender to the ship will depart Nanortalik by 6:15 pm.

Commencement of tender operations is subject to clearance by local authorities and can vary up to 1 hour after arrival time.
Let’s Be Safe on Our Tender Boats
There is a steep step to safely board our tender boats. Please take care to use handrails and take extra care when boarding and exiting tender. Guests who are unable to take the stairs are asked to please do not board. Our staff is not permitted to lift guests or assistive equipment but we will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests with manual wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters cannot be taken via tender boats to the pier. Smoking is not permitted.
Boarding the Tenders
Please stand to the right of the stairway while waiting to board a tender from the ship. We know our guests are anxious to get into port but we ask that you respect the queue. The crew will try to get everyone ashore as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Getting around in Qaqortoq, Greenland (Tendering)
The ship’s tenders will leave you in the port of Qaqortoq. As an autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark, Greenland uses the Danish Kroner (DKK) as its currency. You can use Danish Kroners but Credit cards are accepted in most of the places. The heart of the village is within walking distance and is approximately 10 mins walk from the pier, providing an ideal opportunity to stroll through the colonial-era buildings, take a photo tour, visit museums and restaurants, and observe the views with just a short walk up the surrounding hills. At the pier there will be limited transportations and, there is no tourist information booth.
Independent Guests
Guests who wish to head ashore independently should collect a tender ticket from 7:00 am until open tendering in the Schooner Bar, Centrum, Deck 6, when you are ready to go ashore. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their travelling party. Please note that there might be queues for tender boats at times when returning to the ship. The last tender to the ship will depart Qaqortoq by 4:15 pm.

Guests who are unable to take the stairs are asked to please do not board. Our staff is not permitted to lift guests or assistive equipment but we will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests with manual wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters cannot be taken via tender boats to the pier. Smoking is not permitted.
Boarding the Tenders
Please stand to the right of the stairway while waiting to board a tender from the ship. We know our guests are anxious to get into port but we ask that you respect the queue. The crew will try to get everyone ashore as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Getting around in Nuuk, Greenland Shuttle buses are available, and the tickets can be purchased on the Royal Caribbean APP or at the Shore Excursions Desk on Deck 4. Please note that the Nuuk Shuttle Day Transfer is for onboard sales only. Guest must follow the respective time on the ticket and printed shuttle bus ticket is required to board the bus. The shuttle bus depart from the pier, next to the ship and the drop-off point in town is at the Culture Center Katuaq. Shuttle buses run approximately every 20 minutes. The first shuttle bus will be available from 9:30 am and the last one leaves Nuuk city center to return to the ship at 6.00 pm. The shuttle bus service will run throughout the day. Guests on Royal Caribbean shore excursions will need to purchase a shuttle ticket separately if they wish to use the shuttle bus service. It is possible to walk to the city center which takes about 25-30 minutes. Please be aware that the first part of the way into town is a long road with no sidewalks, with truck traffic and also uphill. While in town you can visit some restaurants, cafes, bank, post office, The National Museum, The Cathedral, and The Art Museum. Credit cards accepted at many places and ATMs are available. Greenland’s currency is Danish Kroner (DKK).

Going Ashore
Due to port health regulations, pets, flora/fauna, and food, including fruits, vegetables, and drinks, are not allowed to be taken off the ship when visiting a port. Food will be collected at the pier and returned to the ship for disposal.
Beverages and other Liquids
Please note that local security authorities will dispose of any liquids returning to the ship. Unopened liquor bottles will be stored onboard for safe keeping and returned to guests on the last day of the cruise.
Shore Visits For Minors
Parents or guardians must not permit any guest in their care under the age of 18 to leave the ship in any port without responsible adult supervision.
Mind Your Step
Thresholds may be higher onboard than those you are accustomed to you on land. Please use caution when crossing them, especially when wearing high heels.

Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Getting around in St. John’s, Newfoundland
The cruise port terminal is located within easy walking distance from downtown Saint John’s. Cruise ships dock at Pier 10 and Pier 11, within 0,6 of a mile and within walking distance to downtown Saint John’s. In the downtown area you can find historic churches, art galleries, museums, restaurants, souvenir shops and coffee shops. Water Street is the main shopping street. Local transport & taxis are available in the city which can allow you to reach points further from the center. The sightseeing minibus service St. John’s Hop on Hop off is offered during the summer season and connects all of St. John’s main activities. The Currency used in Newfoundland is the (CAD) Canadian Dollar and credit cards are also accepted in some of the restaurants and shops.

Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT
Setting Up Your Account
If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations
Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 54 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.
Room Service
Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?
$18.00 $20.50
If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services sta , stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Lost and Found
