To help recognize superior service from crew during your adventure, a $18.50 USD gratuity ($21.00 USD for Suite guests) is added to each guest’s SeaPass account daily. This gratuity is shared amongst dining, bar, & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants & other hotel services teams.

Seapass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

SeaPass Card Cash Limit

The credit limit for cash SeaPass cards is $500. Once this limit is reached, the account will be deactivated. To reactivate, a cash deposit is needed or simply link a credit card. Visit Guest Services to learn more.

Luggage Delivery

Due to the high volume of luggage, we will happily deliver luggage until 5:00 pm tonight. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items please proceed to Guest Services after 6:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Getting around in Cozumel, Mexico

The walk along the pier from the ship to the exit of the terminal is approximately 15 minutes, where you’ll come across shops, restaurants, and other attractions. There is no transportation available on the pier. The town is about 2 miles to reach (3.5km), which you can access either on foot with a long walk or take a 10-minute taxi ride. The local currency is the Mexican Peso ($MXN). This currency is not available onboard. However, US dollars ($) are widely accepted on the island. The ATM is located inside the cruise terminal.

SeaPass Card and Government Issued ID

Please note that guests are required to bring their SeaPass Card and a Government issued Photo Identification to get off and on the ship.

SeaPass Card Cash Limit

Getting around in Roatan, Honduras

The pier is Coxen Hole. The cruise port is usually a 20- to 40-minute drive to the West End. Taxis are available at the back of the shopping area of the port. Taxi fares are negotiated directly with the drivers, but usually cost between $20 to $25 each way to the West End. West End is a small village, local hangout, and activities hub located 20 minutes from Coxen Hole. West End has restaurants, bars, clubs, stores, shops, galleries, beautiful beaches, and bays. The port facilities include a small variety of options to purchase local souvenirs, gifts, food, drinks, or world-class cigars, which are rolled right in front of you.

Getting around in Costa, Maya

The Costa Maya cruise port lies between the Caribbean Sea and dense rainforest, in the southern part of Quintana Roo state. While there are many adventures to be had further afield, you’ll find everything you need here for a day out. There are shops and places to eat, as well as ATMs, restrooms, Wi-Fi, and a spa and a large pool, as well as a swim-up bar. You can swim from the beach here, although beach lovers should consider the shuttle bus that runs to the nearby town of Mahahual, where the beaches are better. Meanwhile, experiences right at the port include Aviarus, an aviary with hanging bridges linking the different habitats; Kakaw, which tells the story of Mexican cocoa, including hand-made chocolate to sample; and La Consentida, a tequila distillery.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 54 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?

$18.00 $20.50

If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services sta , stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.
