You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Children Personal Floating Device
For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Liberty of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.

In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

All Royal Caribbean ships are non–smoking (including e–cigarettes) except for designated areas in the Casino (for active players only while playing) and the specified area on the open decks. Please be sure to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco.

Going Ashore

Self-Assist Departure
Avoid the wait by keeping all your luggage with you as you depart the ship. Assigned departure times begin at approximately 6:45 am until 9:00 am.
Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance, Royal Caribbean airport transfers or shore excursions.
Departure Morning
• You are free to depart as soon as the Self-Assist Departure announcement has been made.
Getting Off the Ship
• Tune to channel 20 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times.
• Once the Self-Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 4 with all your luggage.
• Taxis are usually readily available outside the terminal.
Regular Departure
Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at 8:00 am and end at 9:30 am approximately.
Night Before
• Leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door before 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.
• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.
Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check their bags the night before.
Departure Morning
• Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is called
Getting Off the Ship
• Once your departure number is called on channel 20 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 4 using the elevators nearest to you.
• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal. Taxis will be readily available.
• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation.
• If you require wheelchair assistance, please inform Guest Services by dialing 0 to receive more instruction.
Note: Wait times at the terminal will be longer for guests traveling with birth certificates instead of passports.
How do I close out my tab?
Your invoice will be mailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation. The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.
There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released within 5 – 7 business days after your sailing.
