With your SeaPass card, you can check out as many towels needed after each new adventure. Make sure to bring your towel back by 5:00 pm on the last day of the sailing. A $25 replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.

Transfers in Civitavecchia

Book your transfers to Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport. Transfers to Fiumicino Airport are $71.95 per person one way (for flights departing after 11:00 am). Transfers to Rome City Center - Ostiense Train Station are $85 per person one way (departure is at 9:15 am). You may book in the Royal App, contact Guest Services on Deck 4 or by Dialing “0”. The deadline to purchase transfers is Day 6 by 6:00 pm.

Take the Fira Transfer and enjoy priority departure from the ship. Transfer service includes a tender boat ride to the port of Athinios and a bus transfer from Athinios to Fira town (parking area). From Ship To Shore, Tender Boats Will Be in Operation Today

Guests on Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions do not require tender tickets, and should consult their excursion ticket or Royal Caribbean App for meeting times and locations. For all other guests, complimentary tender tickets are required if you wish to head ashore today. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their travelling party, from 7:00 am - 10:00 am in Music Hall Deck 4. Tenders run approximately every 20 to 30 minutes, with the ride taking approximately 15 minutes each way. Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated on the tender boats. All guests must be able to board and disembark tender boats independently.

Port Advisory

All guests must have their SeaPass card and a government-issued ID with them at all times while in port. Local authorities may ask you to present these forms of identification while visiting these destinations.

Shore Visits For Minors

Parents or guardians must not permit any guest in their care under the age of 18 to leave the ship in any port without responsible adult supervision.

The easiest way to travel to and from Fira is by cable car. However, if you choose to walk, we urge you to use caution as conditions may be hazardous due to uneven surfaces and donkey led tours along the narrow pathway into town.

Wheelchairs on Tenders

Only collapsible wheelchairs will be permitted on tenders. Guests must be able to make a few footsteps to get on and off the tender. Crew members are not allowed to lift wheelchairs with guest seated.

Alcohol Policy

Bar personnel may request verification age for service. The minimum drinking age onboard ships sailing from North America is 21 & 18 onboard ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand.

Planning to go To Mykonos Town (Chora)?

The Mykonos local water taxi operates regular services from the New Port (Tourlos) where Odyssey will be berthed to the Old Port (Chora) of Mykonos Town, where you will find an array of cafes and shops. The water taxi departs from the end of the pier, very near to the ship. The journey time is approximately 8 minutes and the services operate regularly. Tickets can be purchased directly with the operator as you board, please note that they only accept cash (2€ each way).

Port Advisory

All guests must have their SeaPass card and a government-issued ID with them at all times while in port. Local authorities may ask you to present these forms of identification while visiting these destinations.

Shore Visits For Minors

Parents or guardians must not permit any guest in their care under the age of 18 to leave the ship in any port without responsible adult supervision. Transfers in Civitavecchia

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. You can also check out channel 7 on your stateroom television for a video overview of this process. Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am.

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid the wait by keeping all your luggage with you as you depart the ship.

Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance, Royal Caribbean airport transfers or shore excursions.

Departure Morning

• You are free to depart as soon as the Self-Assist Departure announcement has been made.

Getting Off the Ship

• Tune to channel 2 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times

• Once the Self-Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 with all your luggage.

• Taxis will not be available at the terminal. Transportation options that are available include Royal Caribbean transfers, private transfers independently arranged, complimentary port shuttle with a drop off point at Largo della Pace, or a scenic walk to the nearby train station.

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at 6:45 am and ends at 9:15 am approximately.

Night Before

• Leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check their bags the night before.

Departure Morning

• Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is called

Getting Off the Ship

• Once your departure number is called on channel 2 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 using the elevators nearest to you.

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation. Taxis will not be available at the terminal. Transportation options that are available include Royal Caribbean transfers, private transfers independently arranged, complimentary port shuttle with a drop off point at Largo della Pace, or a scenic walk to the nearby train station.

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please proceed to Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar on Deck 5 from 7:00 am.

How do I close out my tab?

Your invoice will be mailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation. The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released within 5 – 7 business days after your sailing

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

SPECIALTY DINING RESERVATION

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maître d' outside. The Maître d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Please alert Guest Services prior to your departure if you have lost or misplaced any items during your cruise. You can use www.chargerback.com to report lost items after you leave the ship. All unreported items will be held for 30 days.
