For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Odyssey of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.

In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth Staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their mustear stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

Wild Animal Sighting Advisory

Occasionally, wild animals may find their way onboard our ships. For your safety, if you encounter any animals onboard, it is prohibited to interact with or touch them. We ask that you please report any sightings or encounters to any of our Officers or Crew.

Seapass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released after the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled

SeaPass Card Cash Limit

The credit limit for cash SeaPass cards is $500. Once this limit is reached, the account will be deactivated. To reactivate, a cash deposit is needed or simply link a credit card on the Royal App.

Take A Towel And Dive Into Adventure

With your SeaPass card, you can check out as many towels needed after each new adventure. Make sure to bring your towel back by 5:00 pm on the last day of the sailing. A $25 USD replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.

How much are gratuities

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Take Precautions Ashore

Be cautious and practice situational awareness when exploring new areas. If on a Shore Excursion, stick with your group. If traveling on your own, consider alternative routes and allow yourself extra travel time to and from the ship.

The best way to prevent colds, flu and gastrointestinal illnessessuch as Norovirus - is to wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds after bathroom breaks and before eating.

Getting Around in Miami

Guests can either take advantage of taxis, Uber or a shuttle to city center. Shuttle tickets can be purchased from the tour operator onsite. (Not affiliated to Royal Caribbean). The cost is 15$ per person/round trip (cash is accepted). The ride is about 15 minutes long and the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes approximately. Drop off is at Bayside Mall, downtown.

Alcohol Policy

Bar personnel may request verification age for service. The minimum drinking age onboard ships sailing from North America is 21 and 18 onboard ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Dry off and Drop Off

Don’t forget to return your pool towels back to the designated Towel Station when you’re done! A $25 replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.

Avoid the Lines and Save Time

Place a credit card on your account today in the Royal App or at Guest Services. And keep track of all your charges throughout the cruise.
