The Hockaday School presents The Patron Party and Live Auction of the Century Friday, March 21, 2014
Proceeds from The Party of the Century, including The Live Auction of the Century, benefit The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence. Faculty support is one of Hockaday’s most significant fundraising priorities because excellent teachers enrich our girls’ education and bring a freshness and vitality that is particularly engaging to the young women of Hockaday. Established in 2008, The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence gives Hockaday a competitive edge to attract and retain the best and brightest faculty who help prepare our girls to lead exceptional lives. The Fund supports professional development, graduate studies, faculty salaries, and other compensation. Please join the many Hockaday families, current parents, past parents, alumnae, and trustees who have made commitments to The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence. Your support is key to attracting outstanding faculty who will continue to educate and inspire Hockaday girls for years to come.
Dear Hockaday Family, Thank you for your generous support of The Party of the Century and Hockaday. As we celebrate and pay tribute to the last 100 years, we also begin to look forward in support of the girls and young women that will be positively impacted by this great institution. All proceeds from The Party of the Century support The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence. Your gifts will help educate and prepare girls for a bright future. We are so grateful to Kelli and Jerry Ford for opening their lovely home for the Patron Party, to the generous donors of the wonderful Live Auction items, and to each of you taking time to be here for this festive occasion. We also want to thank The Party of the Century Host Committee, Volunteer Committee, and the Hockaday staff for their extraordinary efforts to make this year special. We appreciate you so much and hope you have a lovely evening. Sincerely, Kristi Sherrill Hoyl
