Game Time

For years PP - 6 Sporting Schools is a $240 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children’s participation in sport.

Sporting Schools funding is available to primary schools to deliver free Sporting Schools programs before, during or after school.

Grants of between $1,000 and $3,600 (GST exclusive) are available per primary school for each term.

Hockey WA’s School program has been developed to give children 5 to 12 a safe environment in which to learn the game of hockey in a modified game-based setting.

All Sporting Schools coaches are accredited and armed with the knowledge needed to run an engaging and enjoyable school program.
