Some Useful information When to apply – Please apply no later than April 1, 2010, as space is limited. Please note that it takes time to obtain a student visa as well as a passport. Why is this program at John Cabot University? Students benefit from exploring abroad with fellow Hofstra students and a Hofstra faculty member while taking a required accounting course. In addition, students enroll in a second course (taught in English) at John Cabot University; students can select from a broader range of courses and engage with students and faculty from different countries. Students may use John Cabot’s library, computer facilities and other services.

Summer Session I May 19 – June 26, 2010

What about housing? – Students gain an understanding of Italian daily life by sharing an apartment in a residential neighborhood in Rome with one or more fellow students. What about food? – The program fee does not include meals; however, interested students can contact John Cabot University about enrolling in the summer meal program, which includes four lunches and four breakfasts each week. Legal matters – To study in Italy, students need a valid passport, a student visa, and health insurance coverage. Further details on these matters will be provided to accepted students.
