ARTISTS We believe in collaboration. We represent a large number of emerging, mid-career and blue-chip artists and work with hundreds more. Through our vast network of American and European partner galleries we are able to show art and artists that you won’t see anywhere else in the area. Our most notable collaboration is with David Austin of Austin Art Projects. His portfolio of blue-chip artists and museum-quality secondary market works as well as his expertise in studio glass creates a perfect match. As former competitors turned allies, we combine our individual strengths to serve collectors in the best way possible.

We believe in love at first sight and we believe that artists make the world a better place. We receive hundreds of submissions year round and view this as a compliment. We look at every application but ask that all submissions be placed through our dedicated website.

EXHIBITIONS
We believe in variety. The gallery maintains a vigorous exhibition schedule. At the main gallery in Palm Desert, exhibitions are staged for events only, but at the Palm Springs showroom, exhbitions are open for three to four weeks at a time and can be visited during opening hours.

EVENTS
We believe in having fun. The gallery hosts a variety of events for collectors and clients, such as opening receptions, artist talks, and open houses in spectacular private residences. Most events are by invitation only, but the occasional invitation is sent to recipients of the gallery newsletter.

We believe that everyone deserves access to fine art. The gallery is a great resource for art in outdoor spaces, public or private. Locally, this includes two major installations: “Palm Springs Babies” by David Cerny and Julian Voss-Andreae’s “Isabelle.” Both works are adjacent to the HOHMANN showroom in Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Art Museum, providing for a perfect art-filled afternoon capped off with cocktails and the best views in Palm Springs on the roof top terrace bar at the Kimpton Hotel “The Rowan.”
ART FAIRS
Tens of thousahnds of visitors flock to art fairs year after year to see the latest and greatest. Only very few galleries are vetted to participate and locally HOHMANN is the only gallery that has consistently shown at art Miami, one if not the most important art fair in the United States.

We believe in See and Be Seen, which is why we regularly participate in the most important art fairs. You can find us every year at Art Miami, where the whole art world flocks to experience the hottest happenings in contemporary art. We also have an annual presence at Art Palm Springs.

Not only will you be able to enjoy what is currently on display, we can also give you access to our online inventory ahead of time and if there is something you would like to see in person, we will have it ready when you arrive.

We believe in the extra mile. Our staff of trained art handlers will be at your disposal when acquiring art from us. They can assist with installation, packing, and shipping. We will leave only the art hanging, not you. We believe in long distance relationships. Vans full of art, we have driven to collectors in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Sun Valley, even Denver and we’d do the same for you. If we can’t drive it to you, then we build custom crates for the safe transport of your artwork, and ship on approval to anywhere in the United States.
