Hokolo, an amalgamation of Hong Kong and London, is a bold and colourful design-led lifestyle and homeware brand founded in 2012 by architect and designer Jen Taylor. Hokolo’s contemporary designs are inspired by Jen’s architectural training, her love of colours, prints and patterns and subtle British humour. Hokolo products often feature striking colours and patterns, graphic in nature with a quirky twist, drawing on quintessential and much loved British themes. Hokolo’s products are well-designed, carefully crafted, timeless and functional. Our collections include homeware, interior products and accessories. All products are designed in London and manufactured in the UK wherever possible.

English Breakfast Collection Hokolo’s English Breakfast collection plays on strong graphic qualities of fried eggs, tomatoes, red currants, blueberries and orange slices set against colourful backdrops and gingham inspired patterns reminiscent of the breakfast table cloth and jam jar tops. The designs are bright, modern and playful. The English Breakfast collection includes woven products made in Scotland as well as printed products for the home produced in England.

Lamp table The Ava lamp table is lovingly handcrafted to order in England from sustainably sourced British hardwood featuring an integrated lamp fitting, elegant hand turned angled legs fixed using wedged through tenons, a smooth round bevelled edged table top expressing the natural grain of the timber. A circular recess in the table top provides a quirky detail that can be used as a plant holder or for storing jewellery. A matching timber lid/coaster sits flushed into the recess. A black braided cable exits from underside of the table below the lamp stem. Solid walnut, oak or ash finished with hard wearing wax oil. 50cm wide, 45cm high to top of table, 70cm high to base of lamp fitting. Lamp fitting: Brass bayonet fitting with a switch and 2m black braided cable complying to UK standards.
