Latinos Unidos of Iowa gives out $28,000 in scholarships

Des Moines, IA.- Latinos Unidos of Iowa Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Saturday, September 16, at Grand View University in Des Moines, IA.

Congratulations to all the scholarship recipients and to the Latinos Unidos board. This year Latinos Unidos of Iowa gave out $28,000 in scholarships to 29 students.

Founded in 1989 Latinos Unidos of Iowa is a 501c3 found- ed to provide college scholarships for Latinos youth in Iowa. Over that last 30+ years, Latinos Unidos has provided scholarships for hundreds of Iowa college students, served as a link between the Latinos and non-Latinos communities, and promoted the well-being of all Iowans.
