DAY 1: : Welcome to Port Douglas

On Arrival you will be transferred to your central accommodation and the rest of the day at leisure to explore.

Stay: Mantra Aqueous Port Douglas (3 Nights)

Day 2: Day in Port Douglas

Today travel to Cape Tribulation, through some of the oldest rainforest in the world. Included is an hour Daintree River Cruise to spot local wildlife, Alexandra lookout, delicious tropical lunch set amongst the rainforest, and a walk on famous Cape Tribulation Beach. Also enjoy a driver/guided tour with an Indigenous presentation & afternoon tea at the Mossman Gorge Centre to learn about the local Kuku Yalanji people before returning home.

Day 3: Day in Port Douglas

Today enjoy Port Douglas at your leisure, with plenty of great restaurants and bars you can indulge or you could choose to venture out to Great Barrier Reef.

Day 4: Fly to Brisbane

Wave goodbye to Port Douglas on your transfer to the airport. Time to Fly South to Brisbane. Upon arrival at the Airport, collect your hire car.

Stay: Royal on the Park (2 Nights)

Day 5: Day in Brisbane

Day free to explore this City on the River. You may wish to take a cruise up the river to Lone Pine Sanctuary where you can cuddle a Koala or indulge in the Many shops and restaurants that Brisbane has to offer

Day 7: Byron Bay

Make you way down the Pacific Coast Highway to Bryon Bay, only an hour & half drive from the Gold Coast, you can take you time and explore the many coast towns on the way down.

Stay: Discovery Holiday Park (2 Nights)

Day 8: Byron Bay at Leisure

Time to relax in Byron Bay, the most easterly point in Australia. Walk the Cape Byron Track to the trademark lighthouse, kayak with dolphins, trawl the markets, indulge in a day spa or simply explore the glorious beaches of the area.

Day 9: Ballina, Grafton, Coffs Harbour

Your drive today will skirt the beautiful Yuraygir National Park on-route to Coffs Harbour. Coffs is well known for its spectacular coastline and friendly relaxed atmosphere & there are plenty of things to see and do in the area.

Day 10: Nambucca Heads, Port Macquaire

Pass through the seaside villages of Laurieton and Harrington today as you continue your journey to Port Macquaire. You can do everything from fishing, golf, tennis, family theme parks and water sports or choose to do nothing but relax.

Day 11: Port Stephens

This beautiful resort offers something for everyone but is best known for its crystal clear water, beautiful beaches, gourmet restaurants and whale and dolphin watching.

Day 12: Port Stephens at Leisure

Why not join a dolphin watch boat trip today? There are boat trips that are designed to give you the best possible view of these lovely playful creatures and on warm days, it may even be possible to swim with the dolphins. If you want to see koalas in the wild then Port Stephen’s Tilligerry Habitat State Reserve offers a good opportunity.

Day 13: Central Coast to Sydney

Travel south along the Pacific Highway. We recommend spending time in Newcastle and the Central Coast before returning your car on arrival back in Sydney

Rates: Determined by date of pick up for the entire hire. Hire is based on a 24 hour period. Separate rates apply for hires originating in remote areas, NQLD and Tasmania.

Driver Qualifications: A customer must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be eligible to rent a car (21-24yr olds will incur an age surcharge of AU$16.50* per day). A minimum age of 25 yrs is required for the following vehicles GFAR, FFAD, FFAR, FFAM, FXAD, PFAR, SFBD, SFBR, PVAR, XVAR, and all prestige vehicles. Driver’s license must be valid for the period of rental and must be in English, probationary or restricted licences are not acceptable nor are photocopies.

Inclusive Rates: Unlimited Kilometres except FFAR, FXAD, PFAR, SFBD, SFBR, XVAR and all prestige at 200kms per day, GST, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), Administration Fee, Premium Location surcharge (where applicable), Third Party Cover, Additional driver, Damage Liability Fee and Vehicle Registration Recovery Fee.

Damage Liability Fee: When hiring a vehicle the Renter is liable for damage to the vehicle and third party property. In the event of an accident or third party property, a Damage Liability Fee (DLF) will be charged. This fee is charged regardless of who is at fault or the amount of damage. You can reduce the (DLF) by paying a supplement fee. Damage Liability Fee will incur all applicable taxes such as premium surcharge and administration fee. Damage Liability fee is included in the rate and reduces the liability to AU$605 - AU$1,100 depending on car group.

Security Deposit: The Europcar location will preauthorise your Visa, AMEX or Mastercard for the bond amount at time of collecting the vehicle of AU$200 Europcar also accepts Visa and Mastercard debit cards with a bond amount of AU$500. The security bond is held to cover any outstanding auxiliary,

An overseas driver’s licence, issued in a language other than English, must be accompanied by a current International Drivers Permit (IDPs) or where in a country where IDPs are not issued official government approved translation document. Restricted, Provisional or Probationary Licences are NOT accepted.

Drivers between 21-24 years will incur a surcharge.
