Super 130’s Saxon Merino Wool

CHEQUERS Chequers is a collection of contemporary check designs that have been woven from 17µ Saxon merino wool. Inspired by colour and design and having a full flannel finish we are confident that this collection will not disappoint.

The flannel finish is achieved by milling the cloth; a process that nurtures the yarn fibres within the cloth, allowing them to gently unfold and cover the cloth’s surface. The cloth is then carefully cropped so that the cloth’s surface becomes an even array of soft, muted colours.

A comprehensive selection of check designs have been selected because they allow great scope for creativity, and this collection is no exception. With their delicate melange colour combinations, the checks in this collection are perfectly balanced and unique, making them the perfect choice for the more discerning client.

To compliment the collection we have included a comprehensive selection of plains and a small selection of woollen spun flannels with bouclé decoration.

A traditional flannel is full-bodied, soft to touch, comfortable to wear and has good drape and crease recovery properties.

With this collection we believe that we have achieved all these qualities and are sure that you will enjoy the experience in wearing this cloth, appreciating its beauty, its handle and its delicate bloom.
