Azure is a new range of blue themed, lightweight summer suiting fabrics woven from a 17-micron, Super 130’s, non-mulesed wool. The panama construction, more commonly known as plain weave, lends itself to warm, sunny climates. The balanced open structure allows air to circulate and moisture to evaporate through the ultra-fine micron wool fibres, keeping the body cool, dry and comfortable.

The colour and design of each cloth has been carefully considered to depict the most popular shades of blue in a variety of tonal and contrasting contemporary checks. Checked fabrics have been a popular feature in our collection for many years and whilst they may not be the sartorial choice for the traditional city gent, their continued popularity provides an opportunity to develop unique statement pieces, synonymous with bespoke tailoring.

The name Azure, the inspiration behind the collection, encompasses all things blue, and psychologically speaking, blue is the colour that promotes positive thinking. Azure est une nouvelle gamme d’étoffes estivales légères aux teintes bleues tissées à partir de laine 17 microns, Super 130, issue de moutons n’ayant pas subi de mulesing. Le tissage panama, plus communément appelé armure unie, est idéal pour les climats chauds et ensoleillés. Grâce à la structure ouverte l’air peut circuler et l’humidité peut s’évaporer à travers les fibres de laine ultra-fines, ainsi le corps reste frais, sec et confortable. La couleur et la conception de chaque étoffe ont été soigneusement prises en considération pour dépeindre les teintes de bleu les plus populaires. Les tissus à carreaux font partie de nos collections depuis très longtemps et bien qu’ils ne soient pas un choix de vêtements traditionnels pour les gentlemen de la City, leur popularité continue est toutefois une opportunité de créer des ensembles uniques, synonymes du sur-mesure.
