Mark I. Aronson has focused his practice in the area of commercial real estate law for more than 35 years and has handled a wide range of transactions as counsel for developers, institutional lenders, and public and private entities. Mr. Aronson works with a variety of large-scale multiuse real estate developments. He represents developers of resort and golf course projects, regional malls and shopping centers as well as urban and suburban office building projects, and condominium and planned-unit development projects. Mr. Aronson has obtained federally insured, multifamily housing financing for clients and has represented developers on construction projects for which he has secured private financing and both state and federal financing. His work frequently involves coordination with municipal, county, and state governmental and regulatory bodies.

Ted R. Brown has more than 45 years of legal experience and focuses his practice on the representation of developers and owners seeking to develop land, and the environmental and land use issues that impact land development. Mr. Brown has previously served as vice president and general counsel of Arvida Company, a firm engaged in the development of masterplanned communities in various markets around the United States. His role involved land entitlement and environmental permitting processes. Mr. Brown also has worked as a management consultant, assisting companies in the development of strategic plans to ensure environmental and regulatory compliance.

Orshefsky practices in the areas of land development and environmental law with specific experience in planning, infrastructure planning and financing, zoning, subdivision controls and community redevelopment, as well as state, regional and local roles in land use decision-making. Ms. Orshefsky focuses her practice in Broward County, Fla., and for decades has represented private developers of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments in the acquisition and development of property. In addition, she is a frequent speaker at state and national seminars on the land development process, as well as infrastructure planning and funding.

She pilots clients through the environmental due diligence of real estate and manufacturing operations in large mergers and acquisitions at the state, multistate and multinational levels. These deals often involve significant residential, commercial and condominium developments. She also counsels lenders and developers regarding environmental concerns of foreclosed properties.
