In addition to creating employment-related compliance programs and counseling management when navigating workplace disputes, our Labor and Employment Investigations Team provides valuable guidance in the following areas:

 conducting investigations of misconduct by members of executive leadership teams and reports of misconduct that risk employers ' reputations, operations and missions

 responding to and c onducting investigations of reports of alleged sexual misconduct, sexual harassment and other discrimination and harassment, workplace violence and stalking, including by witness centered/trauma-informed methodologies where appropriate

 managing all aspects of workplace investigations, ranging from advising clients as they conduct internal investigations to developing investigation protocols, leading investigation teams and conducting comprehensive investigations, as well as addressing investigation outcomes and formulating plans for remediation

 representing clients in connection with government investigations, including investigations by the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Civil Rights, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration

 advising and representing public and private entities in the healthcare, financial services, education and hospitality industries, including in grand jury and civil fraud investigations and prosecutions of alleged business crimes involving employee misconduct and alleged wrongdoing

 coordinating with public relations and crisis communications professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with case strategies

 performing investigations in partnership with seasoned investigators and consultants, including those with former federal law enforcement careers

 performing internal case reviews in connection with accelerating responses to threatened lawsuits and multimillion-dollar demands and developing strategies to identify factual and legal parameters necessary to achieve appropriate resolution through expedited negotiations

 providing strategic counsel and investigative support to clients facing bet-the-company allegations of employee-initiated bank fraud, bribery, mail and wire fraud, insider trading, tax fraud, anticompetitive activity, environmental offenses and international trade violations

 partnering with client leadership on crisis management issues arising in connection with reported employee misconduct, investigation outcomes, and related government actions and litigation in order to align legal strategies to best serve the employer’s mission and objectives

Our Labor and Employment Investigations Team also conducts high-level client training on a variety of workplace compliance issues, as well as investigation strategies and methods, including witness centered/trauma-informed investigation approaches. We work with our client’s human resources and leadership teams to develop effective workplace prevention strategies to provide a hands -on approach to counseling and employee relations management.
