Profile I am a driven and enthusiastic third year interior design student and I am really enjoying my time studying at the University of Salford. I am extremely keen to further my education and study MA Interior and Spatial Design to extend my knowledge. I am very passionate about all aspects of design, and I have a keen eye for detail and an artistic flare for what looks good. I am very creative and adaptable to what is being asked of me, and I can work well under pressure. I lived in London for three months working as a design intern for a hugely successful company, which not only gave me the professional skills I need, but also gave me the life skills to make my confidence grow. Living and working in central London was an unbelievable experience, and it forced me to be totally independent. This has prepared me for life after university and has made me realise that London has so many amazing opportunities so this is where I would love to be. In 2016 I won a scholarship at the University of Salford for my amazing results which was a huge achievement. It definitely gave me the motivation to work hard at university so that I will have my dream career as an interior designer.

Work Experience Design Intern mac-Interiors
Counter Assistant Sainsbury’s
I worked at mac-Interiors for three months as a design intern at their London office. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much in the time I was there. Getting involved with live projects was incredible, and it really opened my eyes and made me realise how hard I have to work to achieve great things, which has made me even more motivated and determined to succeed.
With being a counter assistant, it was my role to keep customers happy whilst serving them by being helpful and polite. After working there for a year, I learned that I could work extremely well under pressure which I have realised is a very useful skill to have and has helped me throughout university and work placement.
Sales Assistant Haversham Interiors My role as a sales assistant in an interior design shop was to have product knowledge so that I could advise customers on furnishings for their homes, and overall to make sure that their shopping experience was enjoyable so that they would return.
