ARE THESE BURY’S BEST SANDWICHES?

W

hat do you do once you’ve been declared Manchester’s Best Food Pub? Our head chef Liam Rutherford has turned his attention to the humble sarnie.

The lunchtime sandwich menu is packed with delicious ingredients and original combinations. We think The C.L.A.R.E.N.C.E. could be Bury’s best sandwich: Chicken, Lettuce, Avocado, Ranch dressing, Egg, Nachos (!), Cherry

tomatoes and Edam. Try it and let us know if you’ve had better. The whole range offers amazing value and some outstanding ingredients. Try the coronation Cornish crab & prawn for something different.

WHAT’S BREWING ON SILVER STREET? PART 2

WHAT’S BREWING ON SILVER STREET? PART 1

S

ilver St Brewing Co was born in the basement of The Clarence in 2014. To keep up with our thirsty customers we’ve had to move to our own place across town, but Silver St beers are still brewed with The Clarence’s customers in mind. We keep working on improving the range and flavour of our beer, so let us know what you think at the bar. You might even find us making an experimental house brew in the pub basement next time you visit.

SIMPLE SUNDAYS

W

e believe that on a Sunday the most taxing thing you should do is decide whether you want beef, lamb or both. So you’ll find a stripped-down menu of comforting classics and of course the outstanding Clarence Sunday Roast on the menu for one day a week. The chef’s treat board features Oxtail Toad in the Hole and creamed mash that are truly spectacular! Roasts are served from midday while supplies last, so book a table now!

T

he Clarence is a place for fine food and drink, but we know that sometimes all you want is a really good brew. We’ve been working with the Brew Tea Co. to get together a fantastic range of loose leaf teas (all rolled and blended in Manchester) which deliver just that. Get a proper brew, day or night, at The Clarence (combine with a scone and our homemade jam FIND OUT after a sandwich to MORE ABOUT improvise your own OUR CAREFULLY Afternoon Tea).
