The Beautiful City of Bruges

Known as the Venice of the North because of its many Canals, Bruges is also a Medieval City, a World Heritage Site and a delight for lovers of Food, Fine Restaurants and Bistros.

You can stroll out at leisure into many narrow streets, magnificent squares, Museums and Parks – All situated just yards from our Novotel Hotel.

ITINERARY

MONDAY

Morning departure to join our crossing to the Continent. We make our way to West Flanders and the lovely City of Bruges. Here we stay at the Novotel Bruges for three nights to include Buffet Breakfast each Morning.

TUESDAY

Enjoy a relaxed Buffet Breakfast. This Morning we offer an optional Walking Guided Tour to learn about this most attractive City.

The rest of the day is then free to explore the beautiful centre of Bruges. Perhaps take a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride or sample the excellent Belgium Speciality Foods and Drinks!

WEDNESDAY

This Morning after Breakfast, we include an excursion to the Historic City of Ypres.

The town remembers the British and Commonwealth lost at a ceremony every night at Menin Gate. There is also the In Flanders Fields Museum, attractive Shops, Restaurants and Cafés.

We will include a tour of the Battlefields with a local Guide.

We return to Bruges late afternoon.

THURSDAY

Breakfast at Leisure in the Restaurant before our departure back to join our crossing to the UK.
