A Magnificent German Tour with excellent Maritim Hotels

ITINERARY

THURSDAY

Early departure to make our crossing to France and onwards into Germany, where we truly find the Jewels of this incredible country.

We arrive at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne (Koln) centrally situated just a few meters from the River Rhine and the Historic Old Town. Here we include Dinner.

FRIDAY

An extensive Buffet Breakfast before our departure to Dresden – Calling at the Historic City of Leipzig.

We then continue to the Capital of the Saxony – Dresden.

We arrive at the perfectly positioned Maritim Hotel with dramatic views over the River Elbe.

Our stay is for 3 nights with Dinner included each Evening.

Time to enjoy the elegant features and marvellous facilities of this Hotel.

SATURDAY

The Lavish Maritim Breakfast starts each day in style and we have plenty of time to discover this stunning and cultural City.

Many parts have been completely re-built since the very heavy bombing by the Allies and we include a Guided Walking Tour of the city to see the main sights. Relax over Dinner.

SUNDAY

Today we include an excursion to Colditz and its towering Castle set high above the town where it became a Prisoner of War Camp during the Second World War.

Our Guided Tour will reveal all its secrets!

We then continue to Meissen, famous for its Porcelain where we include entrance into its museum and demonstration workshop.

MONDAY

This morning we travel southwards towards the Black Forest and to Lake Titisee, where we arrive at the Holiday Resort of Titisee-Neustadt and the splendid Maritim Hotel.

Here we have a Wonderful 4 night stay once again with Dinner included each evening.

This is an outstanding area of natural beauty and an outstanding Hotel overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Lake.

TUESDAY

A leisurely Breakfast and a free day to discover and explore the Resort and idyllic Lake and Countryside.

You can also enjoy the fine Hotel Facilities then chat with new friends over Dinner.

WEDNESDAY

The incredible atmosphere of this glorious destination and all its attractions make holidays here so rewarding. Today we leave for our excursion to Lake Constance (Bodensee) where we include admission to the fabulous Flower Island of Mainau.

THURSDAY

A superb Maritim Breakfast and another free day or join our optional excursion to see the largest Black Forest Cuckoo Clock and the attractive Village of Triberg. Our last evening overlooking Lake Titisee.

FRIDAY

After our Buffet Breakfast we depart to follow the River Rhine to the famous German Corner at Koblenz where we make a lunch time stop.

We then continue to Bonn and to the Maritim Hotel. Dinner is included on our last Maritim evening.

SATURDAY

A final Maritim buffet Breakfast as we re-join the Coach to complete our circle tour of Germany, travelling to join our crossing back to the UK and homewards to the West Midlands.
