The Isle of Wight offers superb scenery and a great Holiday
The Isle of Wight is an Island of outstanding beauty and has everything needed for the ideal holiday. From Victorian Buildings to Golden Sands, Museums and Craft Centres to sport and special events.
ITINERARY
DAY ONE
Morning departure to join our crossing to this popular Island rendezvous. We arrive at the Queensmead Hotel in the afternoon, leaving time to settle in before Dinner.
DURING YOUR STAY
During your stay we include an excursion to Newport - the Principle and Historic Town of the Island, a visit to the Resort of Ryde and the Harbour Town of Cowes – Famous for its Regatta and popular for great Shopping and a Holiday Destination. Depending on the time of year, we will offer Optional Excursions to Osborne House – The former home of Queen Victoria, Carisbrooke Castle, Rosemary Vineyards, The Isle of Wight Steam Railway and a Boat Cruise. There will also be a fabulous Optional Island Tour taking in Ventnor Gardens, the Needles and Godshill.
FINAL DAY
Departing after Breakfast, we make our way to join our morning ferry back to the mainland and to arrive in the West Midlands in the afternoon.
QUEENSMEAD HOTEL
The Victorian Queensmead Hotel is ideally situated in Shanklin, just a short stroll from the beach.
All 30 Bedrooms have Private Facilities, TV, Tea & Coffee Tray and Hairdryer.
Some bathrooms have separate sink in the Bedroom. There is a Restaurant, Lounge Bar, and an Outdoor Pool (seasonal opening). Entertainment is normally provided on several nights.
Dinner is included each evening offering a choice of home cooked food followed by Tea or Coffee. Full English breakfast is served every morning.
