Tuscany, Cinque Terre & Lake Maggiore

ITINERARY

SATURDAY

Morning departure for our channel crossing and onwards to Germany, We arrive at our Hotel either in Limburg or Frankfurt.

You are free to dine out at one of the many international Restaurants.

SUNDAY

Buffet Breakfast and then travelling through outstanding scenery we arrive at our Hotel in Austria – The Sport Hotel, St Anton – Dinner included. (June Overnight TBC)

MONDAY

Today we take the Europa Bridge on our way into Italy. The weather normally gets warmer as we travel southwards to our resort – Montecatini Terme and the Grand Hotel Tettuccio.

Here we stay for 4 nights with Dinner and Breakfast included each day. Montecatini is a historic, very Italian Spa town set in the heart of Tuscany.

TUESDAY - THURSDAY

Enjoy Italy’s leading Spa Resort and join our included excursion to the world famous Capital of Tuscany – Florence. This excursion is normally operated by Train.

We also include a fantastic day out to Cinque Terre – A World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful parts of Italy.

We take you to La Spezia to join our Boat trip to Portovenere and then to Monterosso al Mare. This area is only accessible by Boat or Train and is subject to Weather Conditions.

We return to La Spezia by Train to rejoin our Coach to travel back to Montecatini. We also offer an optional excursion to a local Tuscan Winery to try 4 delicious regional wines served with Canapés and Fresh Bread. This day then continues to the Iconic sight of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Pisa is one of the unique Cities of Tuscany and we arrange a transfer into the centre by a ‘Land Train’.

FRIDAY

Breakfast and then we depart to Lake Maggiore calling in at the Historic Walled City of Lucca – Well known for its beautiful Churches.

We then continue through scenic countryside to the impressive Grand Hotel Dino at Baveno, where we stay for 2 nights to include Italian Dinner and Buffet Breakfasts.

SATURDAY

A relaxing day to use the Hotel Facilities, to stay in Baveno or join our wonderful Boat Excursion to take in the magnificent Islands of Madre, Pescatori and Isola Bella.

SUNDAY

Enjoy the fantastic scenery today travelling through Switzerland to our overnight stop The Mercure Hotel at Forbach on the French/German border - Dinner Included.

MONDAY

Sadly our last day - Breakfast then we return to Calais to join our crossing back to the UK, to arrive in the Midlands early evening.
